Dude this is amazing. This is probably a dumb question but can you monitor the secondary camera on the gimble in realtime. I was gonna make my main camera a 03 au and my second being a thermal. So i can fly at night and be able to see the thermal while in the air. Thanks man
I recommend using a conformal coating to cover all the exposed solder joints etc on the pcb of each of those components to protect them from corrosion and/or short circuits than can be caused by anything they might get exposed to during use, such as moisture, dirt and grime.
Haha, funny enough half the reason I built this thing is to be able to recover wings stuck in trees lol. But don't worry, next video will be fixed wing. Building the HeeWing T1 :)
@@k1ortia Recommend what? The T1? Well as I haven't built it yet I can't say for certain that it'll be good, however the quality of the airframe and the packaging etc is just as excellent as the Heewing F-01, so it's off to a good start :)
I built a similar quad using the Pixhawk flight controller. Though these motors seem to be poorly made. I could only use them with a 3S and a 9X4.3 propellers. If I tried to use 10 - 11 they would make a ton of noise, and get close to overheating. This was with only the bare minimum components to fly. No gimbal or camera. They appear to be popular motors. I have seen them used many times on other projects. Either mine were crap or they are poorly made.
Great build! Wanna do this myself but im kinda a beginner. It seems very straightforward. Where did you get the 3d printfiles? Can you share if possible, please? Would you reccomend this build for a beginner?
Yo! That is very impressive! Not just the building process but the fact that it can carry a 2kg payload 🤯 it definitely gave me hope since I still have the ancient DJI E300 system and I've been wondering if it's still worth building something around it. Thanks and great video overall 🤠
Cool, I am glad I came across this! I just built a Reptile 500 for our 10 year anniv in FPV, and like the first one, it's a wobbly beast lol. Any advice on your PID/PIFF tuning? I started oput with the 7" profile, and lowered PID's accross the board so far, still have a 2013-esque shake lol
Good afternoon I just wanted to say I'm quite impressed with your precision I like that a lot but I was wondering I didn't see you using any Loctite? I know you don't need it for aircraft nuts but I didn't see you applying anything to the rest of the screws ????
Thankyou :) In regard to your question, I actually did use blue Loctite on the motor bolts, but I didn't use any on any of the other bolts as they all had Nyloc nuts. I should have mentioned that in the video
great vid, I'm building somthing similar using an old dji flame wheel but I'm having trouble tuning it. Did you have to do much tuning? can you post pids etc?
Most excellent build video, you've raised the bar (4x). Looking forward to your next unboxing. 📦⚡️ 2kg at 17:17 🦅♥️.. .This would make for great high-start launcher for rc gliders, or to haul a huge endurance battery so can gather some great future aerial video (on a mission, or even if just parked in position hold for extended periods, as mates fly wings around). Next project might need to be an INAV-radar tracker so camera can track another craft via its GPS position. ;) Half joking, as such a platform and lift capability has many imaginable uses. i was wondering an octa copter with 5 kg payload capacity and 1 hour flight time and at least 1000 meter flight height with ease.....is it even possible ???????????? but the build is awesome

@@gizfpv okay tnx it suprised me that you used default pids... maybe you had an older version of inav? Do you remember what version you used. I use 4.1 but there are some added filters. I think on your quad you used an older version of inav that have no extra filter. Now i ended up with very low pids but still a lot of wobble... ) maybe you used v3..0 or older?
Thank You for the time and this video! From Frisco, TX
Okay this is just cool. It’s really making me rethink my approach to a drone that can carry a hefty payload.
As per usual some of the best content on the web. Very informative and also entertaining. Perfect balance of content.
Thanks man 😊

Which default settings you choose on the build like inav has only 7inch propeller default settings

Excellent my friend, cool intro😜👍 very nice build👌🙂 good week and good flight😉✌
Haha thanks
Hey,
I watched your video and was very impressed. How can I buy all the kit to build the DRONE?
Can it withstand rainy conditions?

Hello Giz, did you change default PIDs to anything else or tuned it somehow?
Nope, kept all PID's default :)

Deffo going to have to dig out the old Skyhero 850 and swap out the Naza V2 for an iNav setup after seeing this!
Nice one 🤙🏼
You should. Inav finally seems to worked well with quads now
It's been a long time since your making video. So I'm really happy~!
I try to get a new video out every 2-3 months. They just take so long to make!
haha nice unboxing - Subscribed.

I literally did no tuning at all. It flew fine using stock pids 😊
Pretty incredible

I built a 7" that could carry 1kg for 5 min. How many minutes did you manage to carry 2kg in a 10" drone?
About 2 minutes, because after that the wind knocked the quad and made it crash onto my friends head 😂
Great video! Thanks!
This is a vintage build lol nice work 👍😎
Haha, it certainly has a vintage look to it
I'm building that same exact drone, frame, motors, esc, and FC. What PIDs did you settle on?
Sorry for late reply. I just used all stock PID's, didn't need to change anything
What setting do you use for large quad? Stock settings are for 3-7”
i also like to know!! i am struggling with builded quad with 10" props
Will this work with a pressure washer
Please put a link to best place to purchase components, thanks
I watch them. Just found you as I’m getting into wings. I have the s800 and a friend is making the 3d parts for me
Nice. You'll love the S800. It's a great wing 👍
super.., can you show the hole INAV-setup in another video, cause I have an older 500 copter, also with 10x4,5 props...
Any reasons why you chose the X500 over the S500?
not bad. perfect
May I ask if you have to use any capacitor ? Thank you
Nice video enjoyed it bro. thanks
Glad you enjoyed it :)
i was wondering an octa copter with 5 kg payload capacity and 1 hour flight time and at least 1000 meter flight height with ease.....is it even possible ????????????
but the build is awesome
Possible yes, but not easy. You'd probably be looking at building something with a onboard generator
What motors specifications and battery din you used?
I thought the X500 required no soldering??
This drone range ?
What remote control did you use?
Radiomaster TX16s MAX
Hello, could you make the dump file available in Inav of your multirotor?
I must build one of these lol
what is the max size props you can fit on this frame?
What is the flight time with 4s 3300mAh Lipo battery?
Around 20-30 minutes
Berapa beban maksimum yang dapat diangkatnya?
now you can launch a wing with it. wold coll project
Haha that would be cool to try
What was the flight controller and other gear you used in the video?
Literally every single part used is labelled in the video

Why did the video only get 624 views I liked it ?

well it did fall out the sky and land on my friend, so you could technically say it got dropped lol
