Thats a pretty easy one, Marshall's true blooded experience and main field in professional AMP's alone plays in a complete difrent league than the JBL junk!
"Military Grade" As a person currently in the military, every time i hear someone say that a product has, or is made of military grade so and so, I immediately don't trust that it will last. Sad truth 🤷♂️ But is this speaker portable? Like are you able to take it outside without having it plugged in?
I know someone with this speaker, and the answer is no. There are different models of Marshall bluetooth speakers that don't need to be plugged in all the time, and those have the word "portable" in THE TITLE. Some of those models include the Emberton, Stockwell 2, and Kilburn 2 (at the current time of this writing of August 24th, 2020)
Have the stanmore 2. The positive: Sounds great. Negative: always tries to autoconnect which is highly annoying. Ill have my blutooth on to be connected to my watch or whatever and it will just autoconnect for audio to the Marshall at any given chance.
Marshall won by a long shot and him complaining about the USB port is the funnies thing in the video. Dude why would wanna charge your phone from a speaker ? That's not what it is for. A speaker should speak and not charge your phone. He is completely biased towards JBL.
I'm thinking about picking one up today at best buy for $300 . I'm curious, how long does a model like Stanmore 2 last before they release a new Stanmore 3? very year or every few years?
Pro tip 1: you ruin the sound quality by setting the bass higher then treble. Pro tip 2: get an binaural mic and a shotgun mic for your camera. Besides that I love your chanel keep it up man 🔥🔥 (Edit: I missed the "you" in the first tip)
Don't buy apple, why would any sane person reward a company that uses customer inconvenience as a marketing strategy? You know, like planned obsolescence.. removing the audio jack, no normal way of data transmission, Itunes... This company should have been fried of the face of the earth years ago.
Erik Stigter it’s not planned obsolescence, it’s innovation. The headphone jack is over 100 year old technology. The path to a wireless society is not a quick process, nor is it an inexpensive one. Gone are the days of file and music transfers. It’s much more effective to use the cloud and streaming services.
All are great in their own but Woburn 2 is more suited for larger room and if u want more bass n loudness...stanmore on the other hand has the advantage of smaller n easier to move around and ofc it supports Alexa n Google assistant
You can couple the Stanmore II with Acton II, Woburn II and Stanmore II. So, you can`t couple this speaker with Uxbridge or any other Marshall speaker?! Do you know about the Voice function (Goole/Alexa Assistant)? Which speaker work with them? Also the Woburn II?
Question to experts: which speaker will have better voice quality: Marshall Stanmore II or regular soundbar with subwoofer (like Denon DHT-S316 or Samsung HW-N650)? I will appreciate your feedback.
I think soundbar. Because i have bought bose sountouch 30 and my sony home theatre still a better sound! You know why because home theatre is amplified well rather than the small driver of Bluetoothth speaker
great review....i want the Tufton but its hard to find in Canada right now and its 599 Canadian.....currently i also have Marshall Woburn 2 / Stanmore 2 / Emberton and the Stockwell 2 .....need the Tufton and maybe the Killburn 2 but the Tufton for sure...cheers from Canada

@@loganver1488 not sure what you listen to but i bought the marshall stanmore 2 and i fuckin looooooove it. The sound is rich, does not lack bass, full of presence that fills my medium sized room. Probably one of my best purchases

Sound tested one of these today. No volume til volume 7, and even then very very low. Only options were volume 8, 9 and 10. (Connected via 3.5mm cord to phone which was at highest volume). Very poor I thought.
Many times bluetooth offer a better sound quality compared to aux because there are many inferior cables out there. Unless your cable is of a very good quality (read: expensive as shit), stick to bluetooth. Cheap cables tend to sound very low on volume and lose a lot of bass. Ive tested with nearly 10 cables on my Onyx 5.
Hey man, just a recommendation that you should review this speaker called Fender Monterey. In terms of features wise, it’s quite similar to the Marshall speakers. But sound wise, it is much better (IMO).
the boombox is actually terrible, nothing below 50hz, modded bass (not full-bodied like the charge 3, more boosted in 50hz, not enough vocals, harsh treble, unprecised sound ...)
prshant kumar 154081 Well in Denmark some tech stores where closing. Runed out of buisness. They had resently bought some jbl speaker units. Like clip 3, charge 4 and Extreme 2. They sold Them For about 55% less
@@EmerMcLaughlin It's pretty good but with RUclips videos that were recorded in low volume, you need to turn up the speaker to hear them (all the way to 8-9 even). It can fill up a large bedroom well but do expect to play near the max volume of the threshold. I would recommend the Stanmore II which I haven't tried but is basically the Acton with that one flaw perfected. It's got much more output and leaves no issue for lack of volume in your average sized rooms and everything sounds fuller. It is going to be significantly more in size and weight (4lb)! At the same time, it's a premium experience and one of the best I would say out there in that form factor. I personally do not want to have a bigger speaker than that and I listen near field so no point either, so Woburn and the like is out. The Stanmore is what I recommend (though again I only have experience with the Acton II).
