Would you recommend these Dynastars in the 157cm or the faction prodigy 1 in 164cm for a 5’2 100lb female skier looking for an all mountain ski that can also go in the park?
Considering these as the first freeride ski for a fast growing 13-year old (currently at a height of 170 cm and weight of 59 kg) with some tentative park aspirations thrown in. As the skis will be used primarily next season, I'm a bit hesitant regarding choice of length. While 167 cm is the obvious choice at this time, I wonder whether 177 cm might be more future-proof but also concerned that the recent growth spurt may slow down and potentially leave him not much taller than 170 cm by next winter. Any thoughts or recommendations?
hi i would say i'm an intermediate skier trying to buy my first pair, debating between these and the m-menace 90, for mixed use maybe 65% time on piste 35% off piste/trees when possible. any recommendations?
Hi! Would you recommend these skis for skitouring setup with atk C Crest 12? or Better option will be Dynastar M Tour 90? I dont mind 200g of extra weight
Sure! The Tour is a bit more floaty due to the tip rocker and the M-Free 90 is on the stiff and responsive side. I couldn't argue against either for touring.
@@jakubsowa8651 More of a directional shape in the Backland, and while M-Free isn't totally a twin tip, there's some rocker and splay that are more freeride oriented vs. the Backland, which is pretty sharp and angular and that leads to more precise performance.
Captis might be got a real competition here.
Just bought these :)
I’m thinking of buying them
@@MaxOrDieYT have it allready, outstanding !

I'd go with the M-Free--a bit better of a build and a more appropriate length for what you're looking to do.
What ski has the same characteristics as this but is the best most premium version or brand please?
I'd take a look at the Kastle MX 88 or the Stockli Stormrider 88 or 95 for the premium route.
@@SkiEssentials thanks very much!

These skis are light, so that's another check for the 177. Guessing they will grow at least a bit. I would look that route.

The M-Free is a bit more snappy and energetic while the Menace feels more damp. I love the M-Free for trees and groomers--I'd go that route!
Hi! Would you recommend these dynastar 177 or bent 90 175? all mountain skier.
I'd go with the Bent. It's a more capable all-mountain ski. The M-Free 90 is nice and stiff, but isn't quite as playful as the Bent 90.
Would this be better than a bent 85 or m-menace 90 for hard pack and a tiny bit of beginner park?
I think so. The M-Free 90 has a nice energetic paulownia wood core that is light and stiff so it holds well on firmer snow.

How about backland 95 comapred to the M Free? I'm between this two pairs, same price, both Seems like good allround Ski touring skis @@SkiEssentials
