    Hello my Lovelies! Join me on another baking series. Today, I am making another Thanksgiving dessert. I am combining 3 favorite desserts into one: Pecan Pie, Pumpkin Pie and Sweet Potato Pie. Watch how to make these delicious Praline Sweet Potato Pumpkin Pie. I used Pillsbury Pie Crust in this video. However, I am releasing a follow-up video on how to make the best butter pie crust from scratch. This pie is better than any store bought pie, even Patti LaBelle’s sweet potato pies.     PIE FILLING
    1Cup cooked sweet potato
    1 (15 oz) can pure pumpkin purée
    1/2 Cup light or brown sugar
    1 TBSP vanilla bean paste or pure vanilla extract
    1 TBSP pumpkin spice (or add 1/4 tsp of allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg and powder ginger)
    2 egg yolk and 1 whole egg
    4 TBSP soften salted butter
    1 (14 oz) Sweeten Condense Milk
    If you like your pie sweet, use the exact measurements above. You can use 1/3 Cup brown sugar instead. Also, you can use evaporated milk instead on condense milk. To check if your filling has enough sugar and spice, combine all the listed ingredients in a mixing bowl, except for the eggs and butter. Evenly mix and taste the filling before adding the butter and eggs.
    I used more egg yolks than whites because the whites make desserts taste too eggy. Also, adding more yolks to the filling gives it a custard texture and prevents the filling from having cracked lines once baked.
    Pillsbury Pie Crust
    One 9 inch pie crust
    Use 9 inch pie pan

    PRALINE TOPPING
    3 TBSP unsalted butter
    3 TBSP light brown sugar
    3 TBSP pure maple syrup
    1 1/2 TBSP milk (I used Half & Half. Any milk will work)
    3/4 to 1 Cup pecans
    Let the pie rest for 30 minutes and refrigerate overnight to set.
