I converted my GTEK into a GMEK and I love it! Prefer using it more over my EMEK & M170R! Love the slide trigger! I've yet to chop paint with the GTEK, whereas I chop at least once every time I use my EMEK or M170R. Also, you forgot to mention the POPS ASA for the GTEK & 160R (which came stock on the Stealth). And, the eye system for the 170R is different from the GTEK & 160R, but very similar to the CS2. 100% agree with you on the CS2's screen! It is very old-school; reminds me of old calculators! I think they should go the route of the Dye M3+ screen. PE finally released the Mech frame for the CS2.
Hey there! Man, you are 100% correct about everything you said there...I'm actually going to put up an update video. I have no idea where that bran fart came from on the 170R with the wireless body connection and light pipe eye system. The worst part is that not only do I know that, I literally stripped a 170R down to send for ano immediately before I taped this video. I'm old, take it easy with me! :)

For pure performance I should add every gun made after 2013 or so :) But seriously, I don't know why anyone buys an Etha 2 when these options exist, especially on the used market for such short money. Macro line or no, I'd buy an OLED Gtek over an Etha 2 6 days a week and twice on Sunday.
@@airtimepaintball463 All after 2013 😅, I meant that the etha 2 and the emek share the gamacore, you have a point, gtek over etha, but for mech game, the emek is the best option for its value.

Love the channel and this video. The GTek line is my favorite line of markers ever made, and the original GTek is by far my favorite because of the price to performance. Just a few quality of life upgrades that can be had for cheap, and it's perfect for me. I bought a $6 feedneck thumb screw (same screw part from the 160r), the OLED screen, and the mech frame and I can do anything. Hell, I bought a second GTek as well, and for less than the price of a single 170r I have two GTeks: one mech one electro. If I were to play tournaments again, I could swap back and have an exact backup. Having come from earlier PE highends (Ego 7 and Geo 2 were my old and trusted markers), I really don't see the benefit of spending more when macroline never bothered me.
One difference not mentioned here is that the original Gtek does not have a wireless frame-to-body connection. It’s kind of a pain to feed the eye wires through from the main body into the grip frame when you have to do a full disassemble. Not a dealbreaker, but something to consider.
