So glad to here prashshti is back... I was waiting for her... Thanks dude your vdo was mean of breaking this news for me
Does she just said..."All the Middle Class food"... how can someone differentiate food also as middle class food
Dear fellow.....although what prashasti said was in different context......but my reply is to ur statement .......whether u take this thing as fact or not......it is food-economy......and food is very much divided into class apart from culture and geography........there are food items we can afford on regular basis then there are one we have occasionally .......otherwise why do u think we have labels like street food, restaurants, 5-star hotels.......all becoz of food origination and its general price.....at present we cannot call caviar as street food....and even as streetfood most of seafood cost us more than 70 rps per few peices.....whereas no one in right mind would like to pay more than 50 for a vada pav even in restaurant......and vada pav becoz of its origination and affordability referred to as classic middle class fast food......nothing wrong in there.....food is never mere food it represents every aspect of human society- culture, economy, politics, geography and more......and still food is appreciated and savoured by everyone irrespective of class, origination or anything......
Are you insane?? What kind of food is rich class food?? Do they good or diamonds on it?or the food from other countries are rich class food?? Don't know but I can make French, American and German food at my place

Exactly and we have Mastani drink in Pune which is pretty famous and somewhat resemble it!!
2:58 this is missal pav, also known correctly as missad pav!! Lol

What's with middle class food🙁 food is food
Yes, some foods ARE middle class. Vada pav is classic middle class food. It was invented by the lower/middle class people who couldn't afford a lot and yet needed something filling.
Vadapav is a classic affordable snack
Invented for the fast life of Mumbai
Where people are so busy they have no time to stop and eat so therefore vada pav
Food is simply food
@@prachikadam1945 Absolutely wrong. It was not invented for the fast life of Mumbai. Here is it's origin from wikipedia.."The most common theory of the vada pav's origin is that it was invented in the erstwhile mill-heartland of Central Mumbai. The carbohydrate-rich snack catered to the mill workers of what was then known as Girangaon. The combination of the potato dumpling (batata vada) placed inside a pav quickly became popular in Girangaon and later the rest of Maharashtra."
@@raknoknak mr.ashok vaidya invented this snack who still has a stall outside dadar station for the costumers who run and rush for their Mumbai local
Technivally it wasnt possible for ppl to sit and eat so he invented this go to snack
@@raknoknak and also he already sold vadas ..once a customer came rushing and said give me a vada but this won't satisfy my hunger
So he simply added a Pao to it which became popular then
Balasaheb thackery helped the mill worker who had lost their jobs then to set up these stalls and earn money
So multiple stall were set up at every railway station

People most commonly divide india into the logical north and south. Which is why mumbai falls in the center in that respect.
It's a very typical north/south Indian thing to say. In terms of accuracy it's definitely incorrect. But considering how wrong they were in selecting Maharashtrian food in Mumbai, I don't blame them for missing out that Mumbai is in Western India.

By far Mumbai is the only Host city/ Metropolitan city where everything ‘local’ is looked down upon/not popular be it people/culture/food and the worst part is it’s the non-localities who educate us thinking we didn’t knew it - places/eat outs, etc. and they don’t even understand sarcasm of localities trying to pretend - how correct these new to the ‘town’ beings are! Partly also, e cause localities don’t want to be rude/arrogant and it amuses us to see how much time it takes for non-localities to get around and understand just a bit about Mumbai. Many don’t understand ever in their lifetimes that their realisation of knowing, understanding Mumbai was so flawed :(
