    This is exciting! While not a fan of magic users, I played mostly archers and axe-n-shield types, I love how you can mix up the spells and it all balances on it's own. Great design.

    Just a question- when using a spell, do you ever gain it back or is it permanent? Also, when do you think you'll release all the other characters? I'm excited for the ranger cuz I all ready have him built :))

      My idea was that you only have a select number of spells that will last for the dungeon, and once they are used up they are gone (that is, until you finish the dungeon and get in a full rest). This makes the dungeon crawl a lot more challenging and makes you really use your spells sparingly!
      It might be possible to incorporate magical potions into the game when playing with the wizard: a found potion can be drunk either to gain back one HP or one spell (the player must choose). This could be a fun twist to add to the rules!

      The magical potion sound really cool! Will definitely try it next time I play the wizard.
      And do it in the order you prefer and is easier, ill love every one that comes out!

      Would be interesting if a risk vs reward gimmick in general is that potions are +1 health or +1 resource, could be two wounds down, but you really want that resource on barbarian...

    I'm worried about such limited resources on the wizard. The Barbarian has so many uses of the power flower and that lets them usually one shot enemies. Wizard only has up to 12 fireballs if you only choose fireball and they don't even take out a single 2HP enemy (still really good for choke points with the fire but still) Also I don't think it's fair that wall of crystal needs a roll to cast, especially if you can only have a total of 6 the entire game (again choosing all walls), even if it's really powerful and can essentially one shot multiple enemies via trapping them. Maybe the wall of crystal can have HP instead of being immune to damage, and then walling things off forever wouldn't be a thing, but it could balance not needing to roll for casting it. Ice seems a little under powered, destroying lava is cool but niche, maybe it slows the enemy hit, or leaves ice on the ground that slows any enemy that passes through? Also lightning could be a neat spell, some kind of AoE or chain effect that you can roll to see if it chains to another enemy? Might be too complicated but just an idea.

      I have tried to counteract the limited number of spells with the wizard by allowing the potion to recharge either 1 life or 1 spell. Before finding The Jewel of Araneth there is a 1/6 chance of finding a potion, and after the jewel is found there is a 1/3 chance of finding a potion. So there are some good chances to get back spells.
      I also like the idea that the Wizard is pretty vulnerable to attacks. It makes playing him a real challenge and requires him to work with tanks as partners to protect him.
