But we have ton of low iq instructors running around teaching people how to code the stupidity ways making beginners suffers even bootcamps are the worsts. Meanwhile kids are getting brainwash to do this in early age from parents and big companies like metaverse.

Retired Java Dev. The language, any language, is the easy part. The real challenge are the rapidly changing frameworks.
I like to say it's translating informal language requirements into specific machine instructions, a video player with comments becomes the instructions for how to play each frame and how a button interacts.
I type away on my keyboard, building carefully worded instructions that a computer can follow.

You described a programmer, but not a Software Engineer. A programmer lays the bricks, the engineer plans the building. There are tons of great programmers who write shitty software.
