    Couple of things I want to point out.
    1. You went to MIT which is a top proven CS school where these big tech giants fish.
    2. Usually a school like that you’re more than likely to know someone already in the company (referral)
    3. You’ve done internships at 5 top companies . Yes this highly attractive to a tech giant like google . It means they can trust you more since you’ve worked at all of those top companies .
    4. They take this into consideration and already have an interest in hiring you whether you pass the tech screening already.

    • @WoWUndad
      @WoWUndad 7 месяцев назад +14

      5. women in tech jobs are free just learn basic html, the less you know the faster you'll get transferred to your dream job of social media intern
      edit: i posted this before watching "i work on ads" way to go gurl, making the internet Pinterest and worse for profit
      also wearing a short skirt every day to the office probably gets you in and promoted

    Some people are born lucky like this Girl, Studied in MIT, did internships in Amazon, Microsoft and then landed Job in Google. On the other hand, people like me belonging to the third world country having 8+ years of experience working hard day and night, working 70 hours/week and getting paid for hardly $800/month. Obviously, in that amount, we can't even save to travel abroad or study in MIT, being a person belonging to a third world country, are considered even less in companies like FAANG. Sometimes life is just so unfair.

      Almost everyone can make this a reality. Get a high paying job in your country. Work in open source. Get recognition and skills you need. And apply to a big tech. A lot of company is okay with hiring talent abroad and giving them visa if the person is good enough. Also, FAANG does not really discriminate in interviews; you see how many people working there are from India. Sure, it might take more time and somewhat more effort for you, but you can always make stuff happen.

    • @SigmaAshik

      Who has stopped you from doing remote jobs? They can easily pay you $3500 plus. Turing and Toptal also pays very handsome salaries. I would call this, your own incompetence.
      In today's world, when the world is a global village this is a lame excuse that you are living in a third world country. Work on your upskilling.

There is a small chance to got laid off in Google like (5%-ish), but if she still stays in Google, the pay is likely to be the same or go up.
