    I love that you made this video of the steering damper mod! It's going to help so many others out there with this same issue! It must have added a lot of time to the process having to set up the camera for all the shots. You're a good person for taking the time to do all of that for everyone! Im so glad the mod worked for you too! Your rides are going to be way more enjoyable now and so much safer!

I even going to upgrade my old 13 year old 32 inch tv thats been giving me brightness flickering problems to a larger tv that has good brightness capabilities so i can see the video images better before i hit record on the camera 😅

    Glad you solve the wobble issue! Was admiring the blue sky during your ride. Damn, those are some pricey scooters!!! Anything over a grand is too rich for my blood LOL! Btw, i updated the firmware on the Max G2 to v1.10.15 and it definitely has more power when you start. They also added a "park on slope" mode which is kinda handy so you dont have to hold the brake on a hill.

To be fair to the red tesla it was in a blind spot so it couldn't see me so rhat would have been an unfortunate accident if it would have driven fast at its turn. The blue BMW driver definitely seen me and he would have been at fault. Its also one of the reason i have a 2 channel mirror dashcam installed on this RS. @THEAVERAGEGUY1983  4 месяца назад +1

      Thank you, i actually did try when i first got it but the way inmotion designed their handlebar stem it wouldn't be possible without me having to heavily modify the stem by drilling a large hole to run the wires through it. I feel like having the cables hidden inside the stem would make the scooter look so much better. That's one of the reasons i just ziptied the cable loom on one side of the handlebar stem. Plus, it no longer smacks around the stem like it did at first. I thought there was a defect on my scooter, but then i found out it was the wire loom that was hitting the stem while riding, causing the noise 😅

      @adamstevens3428 oh!!!!!!! I did the same thing with one of my orher scooters and the same WDR camera. I actually upgraded the screws to a larger number 4 or M4 size coarse screw and if i can remember correctly i believe the length was 1/2" but i also added the ziptie over it as well. In the RS i did a Ziptie too plus some 3M double sided tape with a 1/8" thick ABS plastic i cut up to make into a bracket for the rear of the scooter and i used a Heat gun to be able to bend it in an L shape and drilled 2 holes to attached it to the existing screw for the reflector thingy and that little bumpy pin thing on the side of the reflector to keep the reflectot balanced with the camera. It worked qns so far its still on by my surprise. 😅👍

    Bro what’s up! AJ here from Illinois! So I got my new RS a few days ago, getting use to it. I went to a faster street, put my RS on 3rd as I got ip to over 40mph and my steering handle started to wobble uncontrollably. Omg it scared the crap out of me, I just let go of the throttle, slowed down and pulled over. So the next day, I tightened up my damper took my RS for a spin. This time, I got up to 54mph and my steering handle again started wobbling like crazy. So, I think I’m going to try your idea and see if it will solve the problem

      Unfortunately not yet. It seems they probably aren't going to as not a lot of people are apparently experiencing speed wobbles at high speeds like some of us do so this will still need to be done. • @THEAVERAGEGUY1983
      @THEAVERAGEGUY1983  Месяц назад +1

      @mando-hondadc2992 that's a very good question, the main reason is because without cutting at least that little bridge in the middle, the damper won't be flexible to grab on to the steering damper neck/post so. It would pretty much still be the same without that bridge. This is also why in the video i told Inmotion that they should just do that from the start at the factory so the damper doesn't break from overtightening it. 😁👍 the mod does work, though. Im still riding around with zero speed wobbles.

      @Mluis95 hi, im glad you were able to ask this, i would absolutely do this again with the RS. I feel like it's going to last me a while. Based on its performance, i would definitely buy it again over any other scooter. The Nami Burn E Max is another excellent scooter too so i think i would just come down to the design choice and whether you need to be able to adjust the height of the handlebar so it feels better controlled and the height of the deck should you want to raise or lower it more to make your ride feel comfortable.
