    Arguably one of the most well-built electric scooters of all time, the Inmotion RS Midnight from VoroMotors is a real treat to have on the channel. It arrives to your door in a giant box, but what does it look like when you open it up? Watch this video and find out!

    I have the latest batch RS from Dec, not the midnight, I like my orange, more exotic looking. Lights at night looks amazing on orange.
    To fully enjoy the extreme capabilities of this scooter, I place the handlebars at my bellybutton - I don't know your comfort level. Handlebars are flexible, not wobbly - best this way for road fell.
    Acceleration is sick, warm up the CST tires (mostly nylon) first before cutting sharp corners because the power response is killer. PMT's (all rubber) will slow it down a little, 2-4mph at top speed, but the grip is stellar. Keep the deck level at default, no need for anything else really unless you plan on doing 64mph speed runs, then lowest level is slightly better. Tighten the damper a little till you feel some tension, it helps. The genius behind this scooter is that the rake angle on the stem points behind the front motor axis, this is what makes it super super stable. Scooters that have external dampers have this flaw where the front axle is even with or in front of the rake stem angle, that is why they need it. Kaabo's GTs stems go straight down even to motor axle (like most scooters). Teverun 7260R (I love this SK battery) has wheel too far in front of the rake angle, at 45mph its unstable (bad), so they try to fix it with dual dampers - a Band-Aid, not a fix. I'll wait for their next design on this. You will soon learn what I mean riding the RS.
    I placed a Pedego Bike Thumb Throttle on mine (check Amazon), the best thing you can do, better control, no need to try and grip it with your inner hand. This will undoubtedly be your favorite scooter by far.
    The only other one I ride that I like better is the Emove Roadster, 75mph exotic beast. Enjoy the RS, almost nothing beats this production scooter.

      According to alien rides who has this the bronco vnom extreme 11 beat it in 4 back to back races. Comes with a 50ah battery and $3500 shipped. According to freshly charged the stability was better on GTR and thunder 3. Love the idea and water proofing but lacks on top end.

      @YoungWise2011 "lacks on top end" 🤣🤣🤣 only ppl that dont ride scooters say that.
      60mph is plenty top end. Adjust settings properly and it'll get you there pronto.
      Also you dont ride constantly at 60. Very few times will you do it. Most times ppl ride at 45mph. (60kmh)

    Nice packing job. I just received a BRAND NEW OG STORM that was shipped in a “X Ltd” box with, like 30 little styrofoam pads (marked with VORO logos). The battery was hanging out (and won’t charge), the RGB remote was broken and everything else was in a plastic bag. Took videos and sent them to VORO and EXTEND. Both said that VORO wasn’t responsible for shipping damage! REALLY?!?? You put it in the WRONG BOX (HUGE X box) and threw a bunch of little styrofoam pads in it and called it good. EXTEND? Please…😢 I have the video if you’d like to see..

    • @GingerOnWheels
      @GingerOnWheels  8 месяцев назад +1

      That doesn't sound like Voro at all. Who did you speak with there? In every case like this they will usually bend over backwards and often times lose money trying to keep customers happy because the alternative is you filing a chargeback on your credit card and they will be completely SOL plus have to pay large fees on both ends of the transaction.

Going to buy a new Storm UP battery from Minimotors USA for $1600 and the associated “insulated pin” fast charger. I’ll be all in for a couple more hundred that the original $4400 asking price. I have already ordered the fingerprint reader and damper from Minimotors also. So it took 3 weeks for me to receive a defective NEW scooter from VORO. I hope people who read this will not get taken advantage of like I did. And yes the battery is defective. Everything else works just fine. Voltage reads 84 while charger is ON but drops down to 71.6 ( the original shipped voltage ) when you unplug the charger. Both voltage displays, battery and throttle show this. Hi. You mentioned cell balancing, how do you usually do that?

    • @GingerOnWheels
      @GingerOnWheels  8 месяцев назад

      Just leave it plugged into the charger until the light on the charger turns green. In theory it should be balanced once you do that but I've seen some scooters that need to stay plugged in for a half hour or so after that in order to balance properly.

    • @ljgales267
      @ljgales267 8 месяцев назад

      I believe you already have a nami scooter from your videos. But, in Nami's case, if the charger is already green, it's ready to be unplugged right? Sorry I just really don't understand this cell balancing properly because they said that it should only be 25 to 80 percent to extend the battery life. So if I leave it like a 100% it would affect the battery life. It's confusing because as far as I can understand, both maintaining optimal charge and cell balancing is necessary for longer battery life but the methods on how to do these seems contradictory.

    • @GingerOnWheels
      @GingerOnWheels  8 месяцев назад

      @@ljgales267 It's true that not overcharging your battery will help it last longer but it is definitely necessary to balance your cells every once in a while. Every 15 or 20 charge cycles or so is probably fine. You just want to make sure it happens every now and again. For what it's worth though, you're going to be very hard pressed to maintain ownership of your Nami long enough to notice any degradation in the cells. I know a very few people with 15 or 20,000 miles on their original scooter.
