    Why do you define two different interaction conditions for the side and bottom? What is the reason for having frictionless initially?

    Hello Man. Thanks for the video. I did every step you did in the video but i keep getting this error.
    THE *CONTACT PAIR pair (ASSEMBLY_S_SURF-1, ASSEMBLY_M_SURF-1) HAS BEEN PROCESSED BEFORE. REMOVE DUPLICATE PAIR. -- THE SAME PAIR OF SURFACES CANNOT BE SPECIFIED MORE THAN ONCE FOR *TIE AND *CONTACT PAIR. ONCE A PAIR OF SURFACES IS USED FOR *TIE, IT CANNOT BE USED AGAIN FOR *CONTACT PAIR AND VICE VERSA.

    my query is how do u know the cap plasticity and cap hardening parameters of the soil?...Is it necessary to give them in ABAQUS?
    If it is necessary how to calculate them for other soils?

    9:54, where does the -8000 in COMPONENT 2 come from? Pleaseeeeeeeeee

      It's an effective stress of soil that calculate as follow:
      ( Saturated soil density-water density) *g=(1800-1000)*10=8000
