I really loved the scene where everybody calls out for you. I beat this game twice. I actually came up with a name for the move the tactician uses to finish off Grima. The name I came up with is "High Deliverer's Final Blow." He's referred to as the High Deliverer in his ending.

Just a question I have about the ending. Once you sacrifice yourself, how do you come back? You died right? The end the hand mark is gone and he sad welcome back.
It is stated that Grima can only die by his own hand but in doing so the MU will cease to exist. In Chapter 25: To Slay a God, Naga states: "There is...a chance you could survive, but it is small indeed. You have bound your heart to those of many others in this world. If those ties prove strong enough, they may yet keep you in this reality. But I would not give you false hope. The chance you would live is insignificant. In truth, you will almost certainly cease to exist." When the MU is sucked into the vortex by Grima and hears his friends encouraging him to keep fighting, it proves the bonds he's formed with his friends and family in this world. Those bonds, despite the odds, saved the MU, keeping him alive in the reality with his friends and family. The mark is no longer on his hand because he successfully killed Grima by his own hand.
And so ends the journey of Pheonix on his quest for peace. His legend written in the stream of time and the songs of children. May his descendants bring honor to his legendary name as his time came to an end.

I got my ass kicked in the Future Past DLCs and thought it was because my pairing sucked. But after watching your videos, I realised it's only cause I didn't grind hard enough. Julie Ng I agree. So far I've done 3 runs of the game. In all 3 runs, I paired Lissa up with Gaius. Pheonixmaster1 really knows how to call it. However, I made different choices for the tactician. First two runs I hooked him up with Tharja. My third run had me going with Emmeryn. I made sure to do Paralogues 18-23 before actually going into the Endgame. On my third run of the game, I went to Paralogue 20 first to get Emmeryn so I could pull off the pairing between her and my tactician, who I named Soren.
Can someone help. I just finished the game on casual. But each time I resume my file, it resumes from halfway through the battle (when I saved). How do I get out of this endless loop?
For Casual, there are 3 files where you save normally (on the world map), and 2 files that are used for saving halfway through. Since the last time you saved was in battle, it will automatically start you on the 2 mid-battle files. Press L or R to get to the main files. For children, first see if the 2 people you want to pair up can get married, so go into support and select one of the 2 people, and see if the other person is on the list of people they can build a relationship with. If the other character isn't on there, tough luck. (This should go without saying, but the 2 people cannot have been married yet.) Next, when you settled on a pair, go into battles(Streetpass battle, Wireless Team, Reeking Box or DLC) and have the 2 pair up with each other. Keep doing this through all of their supports until they reach S-rank (Marriage.) Then a new paralouge will open up with the child of those parents. When doing the mission, talk to the child with either Chrom or the mother of that child to recruit them(most of the time). Then once it's completed, there's your child.
Also, if you wouldn't mind answering, how do you access all the new rewards for completing the game e.g. The Theater, Unit Gallery, Support Log, Champion soundtrack and carrying over games.
Sam Pickering -Theater, Unit Gallery, and the Support Log are all in the extras menu -When in a non-storyline battle, go to the options menu and all the way at the bottom you can change the music, where Champion and Chaos are available.
Can somebody help me I just finished the game and every time I resume it takes me to the battle with Grima (where I last saved) and I tried what the comment below me said to do but both took me to the boss battle just at the two different points where I saved during the fight.
Not really,at least in Normal you just need two mounted units to rush Chrom and your Avatar next to Grima and kick his ass. Take in mind that Chrom's Falchion has a huuuge bonus damage against Grima, if you're (un)lucky, he may finish him off in one turn.

I beat it with 3 haha just use your personal unit , Chrom and that dance girl and have her move your unit with a fully forge brave sword that attacks 4 times in a row and I activated Ignis 3 times and my last move was a crit
So I was playing through FE Awakening for the first time last week, ya feel me? I got to Based Dargon Grima himself, and I put together my A Team, and I clicked Fight. After getting hype af from the cutscene and the music, and still recovering from my orgasm over Basilio's comeback, I took an astute assessment of the battlefield. After this assessment, my battle plan became: Get everyone with their Thunder Buddy, and rush face. (Was playing on casual fyi) After losing Gaius and Lissa, I devised a 2 turn lethal plan: Chrom, Garrett (my avatar, duh), and Lucina would take turns hitting Grima and Garrett would deliver the finishing blow (I thought that to win the fight and get the ending I want, the character related to the ending I wanted had to finish off Grima in game, if you feel me, I didn't know that you just take Grima to 0 hp then pick Yes or No.) while Lon Qu, Basilio, and Donnel the Hero of Mankind held off the Grimleal. My plan worked flawlessly until Chrom went full anime and attacked Grima like 4 times and crit like 3 times in one move, and OTKed him, so I reset my game because I thought that'd get me the Chrom puts Grima to slumber ending. Hope you guys enjoyed reading about my first time fighting Grima.
Oh yeah, and in the cutscene where Chrom is pulling you up after the credits I was like "Nah, don't do this NG+ Bullshit to me." Then I realize "Oh that Grima tattoo will disappear and we're gucci." And sure enough: I know how these games work.
If Chrom lands the final hit, the dragon sleeps for another several thousand years, and your avatar regrets not sacrificing his own life. Though if you're married by this point (which most people would be), your wife will reassure you that your life was too precious to everyone to be sacrificed, and Chrom will also reassure you of the same thing (Morgan will also reassure you, provided you recruited her in the paralogues). Im not sure about how this changes if you're NOT married by this point.
Yeah after the end credits, they replay the first cutscene (The cutscene where they find you in the field), but this time you no longer have the mark of Grima. Chrom tells you that it's all over, pretty much meaning you saved the world and survived(If you watch this video, phoenix shows what happens after the end credits).
That's weird ? Maybe because I was playing on hard mode with characters permanently dying if they died but. The Dark Robin is supposed to be surrounded by troops ? There was only 1 way in to enter when I played

AwakeningFates If you ever go Female!Robin, I suggest always going for Chrom. Plus Morgan and Lucina have their own special set of supports if they're siblings.
BlazinVoid well things have changed. I haven't gotten the game and I'm definitely not gonna marry Robin to Lucina. And if I ever decide to do a female robin run. I'm not gonna marry her to Chrom. Its just so overrated that I don't wanna do it. And I really don't care about Lucina being the sibling of Morgan because I just really don't like it. But that's just my opinion
Wow a persona like boss battle accepting yourself and knowing you were a danger so you decided to end your life and actually survived. Also its great how everyone was speaking to you as if you weren't dead or grieved believing you were. this game gets a 11/10 really
It's your character. you survived the final strike on Grima. That is why Chrom says, Welcome back. It is this game's way of showing you how far you have come. almost the same script as in the beginning. It reminds you of the start and that you have now finished the game.
You can pair units together and have them have babies. I dunno about you, but I ended up only using the first gen Shepards the whole game to take down Grima. So I had some interesting setups. Afterwards, I got almost everyone hitched (STUPID SUMIA, WHY YOU GOTTA BE SO PICKY ABOUT THE BOYS IN THIS ARMY) and created the 2nd gen Shepards. There's also SpotPass, the aftermissions, and the DLC missions.
I just finished this game yesterday, and I can safely say that this is one of my favorite games of all time. Everything about it is amazing, especially the story. Oh my gosh, the STORY! It's easily one of the best that I have ever experienced.
You get took down...just to hear your freinds call out to you...you hear their voices and the music...It gets epicer each time...you rise from the void....just to go back down....your team....is swatted dead quickly as if they were none moving flys.... I cryed at this part in the game I couldnt belive....it was all over..............
Hey, PM1! This map Grima's final chapter, when I first played I, actually didn't know this game back then in 2012 because Awakening was actually my first FE game. However, you PM1 for your first playthrough, you defeated Grima without any casualties, so I accept PM1's great video for defeating Grima, I just wanted to say you PM1 are an amazing FE player! I salute you as a new king of Yiilse! Inculding Chrom, too, because why not actually invite Chrom for fighting alongside with PM1! May the Gods favor PM1 as a ruler of Yiilse! :)
What I did to beat him was I had Lissa in the middle with Physic, which I didn't need in the end.. I had Cherche, Sumia, and Cordelia in the uppermost spaces. I then Lucina, Chrom, and Light (my Avatar) delivered as close as I could to him without being in danger (PairUp.) I dropped them all off 6 spaces away from Grima, and they all fought off hordes w/o a scratch. Then I rushed Grima with Chrom, then Lucina, then Light to finish him in a total of 3 turns.
after you defeat grima epicly you wake up in the same feild the mark is the mark of grima killing grima takes the mark away and your bonds prove strong enough
I had the same dilemma; this game by far. You can make do with Brawl/Melee in the meantime, but there's really no substitute for Awakening even if you try the other Fire Emblem games.

If the other character isn't on there, tough luck. (This should go without saying, but the 2 people cannot have been married yet.) Next, when you settled on a pair, go into battles(Streetpass battle, Wireless Team, Reeking Box or DLC) and have the 2 pair up with each other. Keep doing this through all of their supports until they reach S-rank (Marriage.) Then a new paralouge will open up with the child of those parents.
When doing the mission, talk to the child with either Chrom or the mother of that child to recruit them(most of the time). Then once it's completed, there's your child.

Sam Pickering -Theater, Unit Gallery, and the Support Log are all in the extras menu
-When in a non-storyline battle, go to the options menu and all the way at the bottom you can change the music, where Champion and Chaos are available.

Can somebody help me I just finished the game and every time I resume it takes me to the battle with Grima (where I last saved) and I tried what the comment below me said to do but both took me to the boss battle just at the two different points where I saved during the fight.

Not really,at least in Normal you just need two mounted units to rush Chrom and your Avatar next to Grima and kick his ass. Take in mind that Chrom's Falchion has a huuuge bonus damage against Grima, if you're (un)lucky, he may finish him off in one turn.

I beat it with 3 haha just use your personal unit , Chrom and that dance girl and have her move your unit with a fully forge brave sword that attacks 4 times in a row and I activated Ignis 3 times and my last move was a crit

So I was playing through FE Awakening for the first time last week, ya feel me? I got to Based Dargon Grima himself, and I put together my A Team, and I clicked Fight. After getting hype af from the cutscene and the music, and still recovering from my orgasm over Basilio's comeback, I took an astute assessment of the battlefield. After this assessment, my battle plan became: Get everyone with their Thunder Buddy, and rush face. (Was playing on casual fyi) After losing Gaius and Lissa, I devised a 2 turn lethal plan: Chrom, Garrett (my avatar, duh), and Lucina would take turns hitting Grima and Garrett would deliver the finishing blow (I thought that to win the fight and get the ending I want, the character related to the ending I wanted had to finish off Grima in game, if you feel me, I didn't know that you just take Grima to 0 hp then pick Yes or No.) while Lon Qu, Basilio, and Donnel the Hero of Mankind held off the Grimleal. My plan worked flawlessly until Chrom went full anime and attacked Grima like 4 times and crit like 3 times in one move, and OTKed him, so I reset my game because I thought that'd get me the Chrom puts Grima to slumber ending.
Hope you guys enjoyed reading about my first time fighting Grima.
Oh yeah, and in the cutscene where Chrom is pulling you up after the credits I was like "Nah, don't do this NG+ Bullshit to me." Then I realize "Oh that Grima tattoo will disappear and we're gucci." And sure enough: I know how these games work.

If Chrom lands the final hit, the dragon sleeps for another several thousand years, and your avatar regrets not sacrificing his own life. Though if you're married by this point (which most people would be), your wife will reassure you that your life was too precious to everyone to be sacrificed, and Chrom will also reassure you of the same thing (Morgan will also reassure you, provided you recruited her in the paralogues). Im not sure about how this changes if you're NOT married by this point.

Yes it is you. You the mark was your connection to Grima. Since he was destroyed, your mark is gone, and you are now pure.
Does the ending change if you chose to side with Grima?

Yeah after the end credits, they replay the first cutscene (The cutscene where they find you in the field), but this time you no longer have the mark of Grima. Chrom tells you that it's all over, pretty much meaning you saved the world and survived(If you watch this video, phoenix shows what happens after the end credits).

That's weird ? Maybe because I was playing on hard mode with characters permanently dying if they died but. The Dark Robin is supposed to be surrounded by troops ? There was only 1 way in to enter when I played

Wow a persona like boss battle accepting yourself and knowing you were a danger so you decided to end your life and actually survived. Also its great how everyone was speaking to you as if you weren't dead or grieved believing you were.

It's your character. you survived the final strike on Grima. That is why Chrom says, Welcome back. It is this game's way of showing you how far you have come. almost the same script as in the beginning. It reminds you of the start and that you have now finished the game.
what can you do AFTER you beat the game?
You can pair units together and have them have babies. I dunno about you, but I ended up only using the first gen Shepards the whole game to take down Grima. So I had some interesting setups. Afterwards, I got almost everyone hitched (STUPID SUMIA, WHY YOU GOTTA BE SO PICKY ABOUT THE BOYS IN THIS ARMY) and created the 2nd gen Shepards. There's also SpotPass, the aftermissions, and the DLC missions.

I just finished this game yesterday, and I can safely say that this is one of my favorite games of all time. Everything about it is amazing, especially the story. Oh my gosh, the STORY! It's easily one of the best that I have ever experienced.

You get took down...just to hear your freinds call out to you...you hear their voices and the music...It gets epicer each time...you rise from the void....just to go back down....your team....is swatted dead quickly as if they were none moving flys.... Hey, PM1! This map Grima's final chapter, when I first played I, actually didn't know this game back then in 2012 because Awakening was actually my first FE game. However, you PM1 for your first playthrough, you defeated Grima without any casualties, so I accept PM1's great video for defeating Grima, I just wanted to say you PM1 are an amazing FE player! I salute you as a new king of Yiilse! Inculding Chrom, too, because why not actually invite Chrom for fighting alongside with PM1! May the Gods favor PM1 as a ruler of Yiilse! :)

So epic.
What I did to beat him was I had Lissa in the middle with Physic, which I didn't need in the end.. I had Cherche, Sumia, and Cordelia in the uppermost spaces. I then Lucina, Chrom, and Light (my Avatar) delivered as close as I could to him without being in danger (PairUp.) I dropped them all off 6 spaces away from Grima, and they all fought off hordes w/o a scratch. Then I rushed Grima with Chrom, then Lucina, then Light to finish him in a total of 3 turns.

I'm very happy that the Final Boss theme aka ID Purpose has been used during the Smash Direct and now in Super Smash Bros Wii U & 3DS. :D

I had the same dilemma; this game by far. You can make do with Brawl/Melee in the meantime, but there's really no substitute for Awakening even if you try the other Fire Emblem games.
