I lost my ability to talk due to a traumatic brain injury I sustained over 20 years ago. The past 20 years have just kind of been sad. Hardly any friends. Lonely, but I kind of accepted I would never be able to talk again. But last year a found a couple videos which helped me a bit; and last month a saw this awesome video and my voice has gotten so much better! Unbelievable! 👍🏼😁😊 Thank you so much... Really!
Bobby Wood hei, don’t say that, these days I’ve been reading a book: the Brain that changes itself- by Norman Doidge, you need to read it and understand more about Brain Plasticity and what can you do next.
I was diagnosed with a speaking disability where my words had a hard time coming out, and also couldn't find any words to say when explaining literally anything to anyone. I'm now in the acting career and this video helps a lot. Thank you!!!
I just want a voice that sounds nice to listen to because I've heard some people before and after vocal coaches and I'm shocked at the difference. Btw this video makes me smile this guy is so cool and charismatic. I'm going to watch it a few times and practice, thanks for making this.
This video really works. I was ok at beatboxing before, but now it's much easier for me and sounds clearer. This video is like a mastering plugin for audio software....
This video has been a great help. I'm a very quiet person and people are always telling me to speak up, but when I do I feel like I am shouting, idk but I guess I'm just not used to talking. I know people in my class that every time I listen to them they have such a clear and strong voice. I want to overcome this and just say thank you for your help. I appreciate it. :)
I just loved the way he teaches you it's lyk you're getting entertained and taught simultaneously.the energy is so good its king of get passed on into you too.
Thanks Benjamin! After 8 years of learning English, the street way, I've decided to work on my speech and voice to be more clear when speaking. I found this video very helpful and fun. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos and keep practicing. Thanks a lot!
I don't speak much in general. So when the time comes for me to say something I find I struggle. I jumble words around & spit two words out at the same time. These exercises seem to be helpful.
You are a born actor Benjamin Sir. I have been seeing your videos for a long time and my God I am having a whale of a time. Your lessons are just out of the box. ❤
I teach English and find myself policing all the claptrap YT teachers pass off as correct diction. Thank you for giving me a valuable and accurate alternative to undo the damage done to my students by social media.
Well I never thought listening to someone and watching them on this subject could make me laugh and enjoy having a go so much. Thank you for the free video Benjamin. I look forward to viewing more.

I know this video was rather serious in the manner that it was made to help others, however, I couldn't stop myself from laughing at times and even had to pause the video to get the giggles out so as not to miss anything else you said. I will say this helped a GREAT deal for my enunciation, which I discovered earlier today was rather....unrefined for lack of a better word. It seems some tongues in the southern United States can tend to get a bit lazy if not exercised, which I didn't know. Being quite the talker, I thought I always exercised my tongue, but I now know that I was rushing through words, not giving my tongue a chance to pronounce things properly. For example, I SAID (in a recording, at my normal tone and pace) "other than that" BUT, what i HEARD when I played it back was "either that". I had thought that perhaps my lisp had come back, which i had as a child and took years of therapy for (and even had the webbing of my tongue clipped and stitched so I could stick my tongue out of my mouth), and considering the fact that I have a tongue piercing (which I have had for years now), I just assumed it had all caught up with me. However, after doing the final "tongue twister" as I call them, I realized that i do have issues with SLURRING my "S" sounds, but not as much as I simply did not give my "D" and "T" sounds the attention they needed. What I am trying to say, in a rather long-winded fashion, is THANK YOU so much! I thought the old "The Rain in Spain Stays Mainly in the Plain" was the only thing that might work, but I will definitely be practicing these in the future (I have myself recorded saying them all very clearly as a reference). I apologize for the lengthy reply but I just really appreciate the time and effort you put into making this and really breaking it all down quite simply, and most of all, making it fun.
Hello, I'm from Mexico and I'm about to start working in a call center in English. I was worried about my pronunciation, but then I find your video and practice the exercises. Now whit an hour of practice (and a tired jaw) I feel more comfortable whit mi speaking abilities. Thank you so much! I will continue practicing during the week.
[1:47] 🤸 Warm-up exercises include foot circles, knee circles, waist rotations, shoulder rolls, and facial expressions to relax and prepare the body for speaking. [4:00] 🎤 Vocal exercises like "pa ta ka pah" improve clarity and pronunciation for English sounds. [6:36] 🔠 Consonant exercises, such as "ba da ga bah," help in articulating clear speech. [8:39] 🗣 Unique vocal warm-up phrases like "unique New York" and "red leather, yellow leather" enhance speech clarity and agility. [11:09] 📝 Practice tongue twisters like "Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers" and longer phrases to improve speech fluency. [13:04] 💼 Practice these exercises regularly to enhance speech clarity and prepare for important interviews or presentations.
I won't lie. I was sitting up in my bed doing the foot exercises until you said to get up....lol.....and since I was up at that point, I made the knee and waist exercises into a dance.....great video! thanks for posting.
