Handy tip - the black spots are tar from the road. Buy yourself some tar and glue remover spray that on the areas and wait for 5 mins. You'll see the black spot start to bleed then wipe it away 😊
Hmm, I'm not so sure. I had a car completely clear of this and then i hit it from the jet wash and it created these marks, I replaced the inner component and it's now fine. I couldn't figure out what it was. I'm 99% sure it's from the jetwash.

Right idea to get cars totally sorted prior to advertising, next step is like on that volvo doing discs and pads yourself, probably be 90 quid for the parts, half hour each side, save you 200 quid labour and journeys to garages, buy a big jac and a few tools.

Love your videos especially your Humour, I remember watching you a few weeks ago with the other two RUclips dealers and you saying about using AI to select cars, I use chat GPT at work to translate warranty defects but not used it for AI. You were right to knock off the Ecoboost with not one but Two Wet belts, but honest Johns Verdict of the Citroen C3 mentioned it had the 1.2 Puretech engine (known as Purecrap engine in the trade) also has a wet belt that is known to fail. Puretech 1.2 petrol engines are also fitted to Pergeot and Vauxhall's - even if the belt has been replaced they tend to drink oil or the oil pressure light comes on!
Be lucky in this climate getting two grand out of cars , the market is slow and i personally wouldn't want to get premises at this stage . The motortrade is changing at an alarming rate and i love your enthusiasm but a few months in and youll realise its hard work to make money out of vehicles especially this year.

I tend to self warranty anything that is local so that if there are any issues, i have more control and i can have the car into one of my garages. Further afield im using a warranty company (warrantywise) who are so far very good and I've had to use them once. Basically, customer service is EVERYTHING make sure they know they are looked after during the first 30 days and consider addressing any issues thereafter. You can look up what you are obliged to do as a trader and perhaps look at doing a little more if you can depending on the issue. Squeaky breaks after 2 months doesn't take much to pop into a garage and get sorted and it probably means that customer will come back to you again.

Great videos that are very enjoyable and highly watchable. I've tried the Autoglym polish on scratches and it doesn't seem to make much difference. Do you use the 3M Perfect-It Fast Cut Plus Extreme on a polishing cloth by hand or do you have to use this with a machine polisher?
I use a polishing pad on the end of a drill that works really well. I also have a big buffing machine but i make a right dogs arse of the job when i use that. You can do small local polish outs with a rag if needs be but that 3M stuff is very good!

Those black spots are almost certainly tar spots, particularly as they're behind the wheels. A good glue and tar remover will wipe them straight off.
WD40 works well too for tar
