- I love this set already, but after fiddling with the doors I like my design better!
Im unsure if the set's doors were accurate to in-universe, but this mod probably isn't, I just did it for my own personal taste!

If It isnt clear: The pieces used to build the Modified NEW door, are the pieces from the door you peeled off the set! The only new pieces are the 1x4s. Hence: 2 Pieces.

because its wayyy too choppy looking. nothing at all streamlined like the actual vehicle

Well, it is a giant brick. It's pretty easy to move stuff around. out of the box, I'm not a huge fan of it, tbh, but it was so easy to modify and tweak that it's one of my favorite sets, and I bought three.

The stud shooters are aclually very easy to replace with the slopes they used.

You could also swap out the 2x3 under the turret for a 2x2 & make it able to rotate 360 degrees

Upgrading the sets with the pieces inside is what it's all about.
I myself removed stud shooters from the new Obi Wan's Delta-7 and replaced them with something more resembling the real guns, by building them with the slope pieces the stud shooters used and 1x1 black pieces removed from the underbelly, which I replaced with the dark red ones from the stud shooters again.
Using the leftover pieces as greebling is genius!

Put this on lego idea so it can be turned into a lego set
Dont forget to also remove the piece that keeps the gun on the back.from making a full 360°
I accidentally knocked over my morator and it shattered like crap I don’t have it anymore because my roommate but it away and mixed it up. I learned my lesson
I used 2 to make a minifig scale one. Definitely worth it.

I modified my two Marauders to be about 4 studs longer which makes them more proportionately accurate. It also makes them a bit closer in scale to the UCS AT-AT.
I also modded my two Hoth AT-STs with pieces of the Rogue One AT-ST to make them more accurate with slightly longer and articulated legs. I also modded my hovertank to be able to carry 3 Scarif crates, although it made it slightly too big in comparison to the other vehicles. The hovertank is surprisingly small in canon.

its cool very cool but in the show is it 2 door one goes up and the other down not one down but anyways the new build looks cooler
The TV show also isn't made out of Lego studs. And the cannons don't fire actual lasers. Why, the Marauder doesn't even hover! It just sits there!

That loop is the definition of perfection. No extreme black screen for a few frames before it loops, it literally is perfect

Yes, to me at least! Upgrade is subjective to what you want out of the build, so for me yes!
A modification I did was remove or replace that 2x2 hole thing on the turret so it can do 360 like the show
Nice. But personally, I find that slope next to the door to be weird. Why would you have a slipe like it's ending, just for it to abruptly go up to the same level that it was at before? Personally I wouldn't have that slope, but it was most likely in the set and not your personal choice so I'm not blaming you
