I think this game epitomized the killer that is Mohammad Salah. Not a great 90 minute performance, but involved in the two goals. Not his best strike and not a defense-splitting assist by any means, but he’s the match winner again. He doesn’t decorate games with silky skills or mazy runs, but his efficiency is phenomenal.
Agreed our first half didn't went well 0 shots on target but when palace down to 10 man, we started play with full energy until we got last minute winner goal, hopefully we'll do more in upcoming home games

This is a pressure game for Liverpool to keep the points in the race. Looking at Liverpool line up, its good although we have to see how Quansah performs in the middle not in his favored left CB side. Nonetheless, a start that will give the young lad a boost without saying the least! Excited to see Endo starting as MacAlister is injured. Last two games needed steel in the middle, so its good to see how Endo will provide that.
Crystal Palace will definitely play compact, with midfielders packed around the center and strong number cover at the back. Liverpool’s strategy of break away play looks correct for me. With the front three able to break away in pace, this will be interesting to see if Liverpool employs this properly. The slippery pitch and strong wind may be a telling factor!
This was suggested in the Liverpool FC site during half time: First half against compact Crystal Palace. The one touch in front is not working. Midfielders should slow down the middle and the quickly play to the wide areas. This is a game made for TAA if he is allowed to roam. So far, TAA has to run back to cover the right and that is taking him off the game. Endo and Gravenbach should double down and provide cover so that TAA can roam and pick players. Elliot and Konate should come in to provide more right cover! suggested replacement : Szobo and Quansah. minimal impact from their game so far
Klopp did go for a change, Endo is substituted with Gomez, strengthening the case that TAA needs to operate more in the middle and he gets cover in the right! I like to believe this is the turning point for Liverpool, and belief must start to come in that we are difficult to beat. Endo is, quite frankly, not good enough to play even as a backup at Liverpool.
I think Liverpool bought him to open up the Japanese market and get Japanese corporate sponsors.
He went from playing for a team in the Bundesliga that played a sedentary, two-row defense to playing in the fast-paced, physically strong PL,
he can't do anything with his speed, judgment and strength.
He's not up to the standard of his big name teammates.
