I agree, for me its *the* best Vissi d'arte I've ever heard, even better than the versions Angela herself has sung before. Most sopranos sing the top note towards the end as a triumphant note, but here there's a level of supplication/lacrima in her tone that really brings out the meaning of the aria. Goose bumps every time I hear this. Brava
I have a particular attachment to this aria and have been looking for the "perfect version" for quite some time.
