I recently connected my midi fighter controller into Koala and it just opened up the app for me... the MF was collecting dust and now it's got a new lease of life! sure it's not like having velocity sensitive pads but it is so satisfying to clack those Sanwa's!!

If the Mac in the store is capable of running the MacOS on your harddrive you could restart the Mac and boot from it by pressing R on boot and choose it as boot drive. There is also a workaround to run the newest MacOS on not supported Macs. Look it up and always always backup!
Actually I did try the hard drive boost way, it's my first thought, but it didn't work :(
The only thing that actually is missing for Koala sampler atm is using it as plugin in any choosen DAW
It’s AUv3 for iOS so it could be in the future for desktop…
Great video, Michael! I noticed you have AudioSwift in your hard drive. Did you had a chance to try it out? I didn’t know Koala Sampler was on macOS. You can try your MacBook trackpad with AudioSwift in Trigger Mode as a grid-style MIDI controller for Koala, or map the sliders in the Slider Mode to control the parameters, while triggering samples with the MacBook keyboard. All of these can be made with the current AudioSwift version 2.3.5 Beta.

Glad you're interested, the main difference is YT is hard to share my writings with images and other files e.g. samples & project files & plugins, but on Patreon it's just more versatile to achieve that. Plus YT took too much away from creators by providing much less tools, basically I can only upload video on YT :(
We can also create a drum loop for free using fingers and a table.

Yeah, I have to admit Apple's service and products are pretty amazing, at least here, people think I'm crossing the line, but actually it's just a small part of what Apple provides, Geniuses are also really kind.

I don't think we use that currently, but the more I go to Apple Store, the more possibility I lose money, I know they robbed me with an M1 MacBook Air recently.
