I was debating between the LUT7 and the SmallHD Focus 7. It really seems like the LUT7 is Feelworld's direct answer to the Focus 7. For a new videographer like me, the LUT7 seems like the better one to go with given the lower price without sacrificing features. From what your review shows, it sounds like there is plenty of room for growth too with all of the image tools the monitor has. I think this seals the deal for me, thanks!
Great review. Made me hesitate but I finaly purchased the Fotga A70TL. Far from 2200 nits but the sun shade does the job well and I'm very happy with it.
Thank you Damien for another great review! I'm currently testing both the LUT7 and the F6 PLUS, but I'm on the fence on which one is actually better. There's no denying that the LUT7 has the larger viewing estate and the much higher brightness for outdoor shooting, but I found some hiccups that might steer me towards the F6 Plus: 1) the histogram on the LUT7 is mostly useless since it's easily going over the maximum value, while the F6 PLUS is perfectly readable. If only we had a way of leveling down the whole histogram reading... 2) the "HDR" function under the LUT switch, looks like just another LUT applied on top of the footage, I find it misleading, especially because: 3) at maximum brightness, the LUT7 is showing some overexposed areas that aren't really there in the recorded footage or in the F6 PLUS display. Plus, while the LUT7 is still usable on a gimbal, it's much heavier (actually double the weight than the F6 PLUS).
I never used the F6plus but I do have a brand new (I think not even released) version here which I am currently testing. It's a 6" with 2600 Nits brightness. Way smaller and lighter than the Lut7 too.
I have the Andycine version of the Lut7 (c7) and it's basically the same monitor but branded differently. I was able to connect to my vmount battery using the andycine vlogger monitor mount. but it's annoying you can't get that hand tight enough to not have it loosen up if you swivel it a lot. I'm preordering the smallrig 2905, which looks like a narrower version of the smallrig BSE2346 like he has in the video and that may work.
RED ultra bright monnitor cost over $5000 with exactly same parts inside the shell, guess the red logo and shell worth $4800, small HD cine 7 also use the same thinng inside, but it can control the RED camera, so I guess $1700 seems cheap as hell for RED user.

I never had any burn in issues. However, I haven't used the monitor too much as I switched to the Osee / Swit Monitor which is even brighter and fits better on my rig. The one thing I didn't like about the feelworld is that it's blocking the DC port on the bottom
