I would LOVE to have these vitavon upgrades but omg they're expensive. I wish vitavon wasn't so expensive. They would sell soo much more if it didn't cost the price of the vehicle for the upgrades. Definitely some quality stuff though.

I've got my axle's on order. I did the shock towers last week. Loving the Vitavon stuff, expensive for sure, but we all knew that going in.

Them axels and shock tower for sure gives it a more scale look!👍 I was thinking if u had some 3D printed sliders that could some how mount to the bottom of those axels would help them to slid and protect also

Those came out a lot faster than I was expecting. Vitavon is going to make the SCX6 and the LMT leg breakers with all their parts. But they do look so much better than the stock parts.

I'm guessing Horizon thought the extra expense of aluminium would cost them some sales. In my opinion this is an absolutely necessary upgrade on an RC vehicle like this one!
Not everyone likes metal axles and I'm one of them . Plastic slides better
@@urdonercjeremyburris7541 trouble is, this rig is big, heavy, and powerful. Flex in an axle housing is unacceptable! Plus it instantly lowers the center of gravity.
@@SwampersRC some flex is ok. It's not a comp rig and never will be. No flex means easier to break stuff. Maybe if people would stop bashing it then they wouldn't break stuff
It's just like the scx10iii everyone is breaking parts on it. We have 2 scx10iii and a 1.9 wraith with 10iii portals under it and the only thing I broke is pulled the pan hard bar out of a rod end because I was being stupid
I’ve upgraded the shock towers to aluminum on my SCX6, plastic isn’t the enemy imo, the axles slide nicely over the chunk

I had my 1st experience today. From something ive not EVER done. In over 40 YEARS of being into rc.
Had my 1st EVER lipo fire.
Thats an extremely terrifying thing. NEVER again will i change ANYTHING without SAID battery being in a lipo bag. (Granted, smart packs used with smart chargers, its extremely rare.) I was using a zeee 3s/3000mah (1 week okd! 🤯), In an older venom 4 bank charger. Went out of the garage for 30 FREAKING SECONDS! Luckily, i had an extinguisher. That wasn't bad, mY 25lb service dog was in there too n couldn't get out.
(MY apologies for venting, BUT ppl's GOTTA know!)
Dog is ok? Glad you caught it!! A local friend of mine lost his home a few months ago due to a lipo fire.

Yes sir i got chase out 3 seconds after i unplugged everything. Hit the 2nd garage door opener on our way out.
The cleanup took a few hours.
Starting today, if im not RIGHT THERE while charging, im turning off everything. I did order 8 single lipo bags. They arrive today.
I can't imagine what id done IF anything had happened to chase.

It would be cool to see how a lot of these (as in several on this channel) hold up and perform without $1k of aluminum on them......comes a point where it's not relatable one bit because the trucks are so far over the top.
Every pay check I order a vitavon part. That’s how I do it. I could never justify spending 2000$ at once to upgrade 1 rc.
Would u recommend getting his 718$ axles front and rear with internals or just the 418$ and use my own internals ?
Love the axles!. How is it that u don't have the vitavon beadlocks already? Or are u just waiting to put them on, in another video?
Don’t have them yet. There is a method to my builds. I almost always build the driveline before adding big power. But yeah soon on the beadlocks.

could you tell me if there are axles for scx6 on the market where it is possible to lock and unlock the differentials?
I'm looking for metal axles for axial scx6 where it is possible to lock/unlock the differentials, does vitavon have this upgrade?
I’m a little confused vitavon has front and rear axles , than he has housing , are those 2 different things ? And than there are portals that go into the axles which are the housing not the regular axles ? Please explain if you can thanks
Question I know your a Vitacaged lol but what’s the difference n the vit..than treal? I get the price thing but side by side testing? Just curious.. I’ve heard both good and bad on both..so just kinda wanted input… is it the bigger barrings or what? Just wondering cause technically they r both better than stock.. but just be nice to see them both get used on two trucks that r the same and after say… 3 months and go back in and see if there is anything wearing differently…? 🤷♂️
lol I use Treal too. I just really like the Vitavon plus I'm a dealer for Vitavon so that helps. But you can't go wrong with either brand, just pick what looks best to you and go have fun.

I would've went with black axles.
A pound off the top and moving to the axles is a huge improvement.
I would think Vidavon would've at least have an option for bearing in the knuckles instead of bushing , there's plenty of room.

Hello, im helping my father inlaw set up his scx6 rangler. He changed the front and rear axles to the silver and black Vitavon ones and he also added the portal kit for housing.Since then the rangler has no strengh at all for some reason we believe something went wrong in the mounting process. Do you have any idea what could it be? If you have an email or number we can contact you for mote details I will appreciate it. I don’t know anything about this so we need some help. Thanks ahead of time.

Yeah. Do the braces and when Vitavon has the ring and pinions, do those. Then upgrade as needed.

Shame they copied the panhard bar mount for the axle and the shock tower. Could have made it double shear and improved it...
very expensive upgrades... I'm in no competition so I'll just stick to stock and put some bigger wheels and tires on it.
Crazy to think that playing with a 1:6 RC will end costing as much as playing with an 1:1
