Looks lovely Ashley can uou tell me which embrilliance is best or you use ,I've still got my Hanome like your old one that I hot after seeing you use it, I love it tho the Brother looks fab too. I've not got any other software other than what's on my machine and I like that you can download designs to make fro. Creative Fabrica ttfn xx
Hi I used to love my Janome i only really switched to Brother because its compatible with my SNC. I use the basic embrilliance essentials, the thing i like about embrilliance is, you buy it in modules so as you learn and want to do other things, like maybe digitise your own designs you just buy another module. Also it was (not sure if it still is) the only programme that would work with a Mac computer which is what I've used for years now so thats why i chose embrilliance.
I like the idea of laying the fabric on top rather than hooping. Does it work the same with wash away stabiliser? I’ve got both but I’m not sure which one to use and when or if it doesn’t matter
To be perfectly honest, I float everything the only thing I ever, hoop is the actual stabiliser, Washaway stabiliser is normally used on items where you don’t want any stabiliser residue left straight from stitching, the other stabilisers will eventually break down and wash away with continued washes, if that makes sense. As an example, I would use Washaway stabiliser on something like the passport cover. I showed recently because it would be easy to wet the edges and not have any stabiliser left showing. It’s also used for freestanding lace projects. It probably has other uses. I am not an expert with machine embroidery.
@@applelover53 No me neither. I've had my machine since November and I'm only just starting to try it out for Embroidery. I suppose you just learn by doing it. Anyway, thanks for your advice.x
