Its more than a years since I bought my 2023 Sierra 1500 Denali with the 6.2L. Best thing I bought with 29k miles. Just had some recall and warranty work done on it recently and no issues at all.
Good looking truck. You can't beat 26 mpg on a truck of that size. I would like to see GM offer this truck and the Trail Boss in the double cab configuration to keep the size of the truck down a little. The AT4 does look a lot better than the Trail Boss.
That's a really nice truck. Pricey. I've seen 4X4 Elevations with the 3.0 online for under 50K after incentives. That's what I'd go for if I could get that deal OTD.
Ben i watch lots of your videos and you say this is your favorite truck. Can you give your thoughts on seat comfort? I'm hesitant on the GMC bc people gripe about it and say Ram is the most comfortable. But then some people complain about the overall quality of Ram which seems weird bc if you lookup best quality truck, RAM shows up at the top. I like the look of the gmc and really like that diesel. I'm torn
I have this very same truck. The seats are honestly garbage. Hard as a rock and an inconvenience on long drives. Too bad GM has to make them more firm than previous generations. My guess would be cost cutting or government “safety” regulations… Otherwise, I love the truck absolutely amazing in most ways
@@yeahcourts since everyone is different everyone should try them for themselves. I find both my old and new GM seats incredibly comfortable even on 20+ hour straight drives, they are firm though. My Dodge seats were also comfortable but very soft. Ford seats hurt my back and the armrests are set for giants but other people swear by them (and they are the #1 selling pickup in NA for decades now). Telling people they are shit because they don't work for you is simply egotistical.
were you running a level or wheel spacers? I've heard those contribute to ball joint failure and its not an if it's when, and preemptively replacing the weak uca's with sturdier aftermarket ones or getting a higher end level or lift that includes them is the known fix. If you are running it in a stock configuration it's not a common issue at all.
@@freedomisntfree_44 that's very unfortunate would definitely put me off the brand. My logic is everything is shit these days so buy what you want and flip it once its out of warranty. Hope you have better luck elseware, my brother has a new F150 he's had all sorts of issues with and its just straight up built worse than his 2019 that he had to replace since it was in an accident. I have a 2011 GM that has never left me stranded in 200,000 miles.
@@Connor-gc3uz You sure? 2025 AT4s with the base package are 64k with standard dealer discounts. GM discount will knock that down a little more, but I've never seen OTD pricing as you mentioned.
Beautiful truck but the seats are horrendous. Makes my Tacoma seats feel like a Rolls Royce. Almost bought this for 10k off MSRP, couldn't get past the seats. Wound up with an F150 Lariat with a 5.0 instead. Night and day with the cabin comfort. Poor sound deadening too considering the AT4 trim is a pretty premium trim, single pane glass is a zonk.
I’m currently cross shopping this truck and a 2021+ f150 lariat. While I haven’t sat in a GMC yet, I can’t get over how poor quality the ford interior feels.
@@danielpak3743 The seats are everything. If you google it, there are forums where people are literally reupholstering their brand new truck seats because they can't tolerate it anymore. They are truly terrible, I'm not exaggerating. You're right about poor quality interior but the Ford seats are actually amazing. I really wanted the GMC.
Own this truck since May, 16,000 miles down, averaging 27mpg, no problems at all. Love this truck and can't beat the value.
Same!👊🏽💯

Right now AT4 with 3.0 TD is the best option on a half ton market
how does the front bumper do with rock chips?
I have one and totally agree, no problem with rock chips on mine.
@@FUZZION-jk9rrnot good. Paint is thin and cheap on the bumper. Just stay back, and you should be okay.
@@FUZZION-jk9rrHad mine since April. Nearly 10k miles… Zero issues with paint chipping. Zero issues altogether!
Averaging 25-30 mpg doesn’t hurt either. The duramax is a gem of an engine in my AT4

Agree re the double cab configuration. That’s what I need. Too many bells and whistles, in my opinion, on this particular “truck”.
Just picked up my 2025 AT4 today in Thunderstorm Grey. I’m in love!

Thank you, I agree with you!
They need to add full panoramic already
I agree. I heard that full pano lowers the tow rate because the cab is not a sturdy but every other manufactures offers it
@ these trucks would be the baddest on the road if they had full pano. They’re already badass as is but adding that will be a lot better
@@CodyLeonAgreed!
Friendly fyi, you may want to let the oil pressure build up before revving these trucks.
Good advice. Any vehicle it’s best to let idle for a few minutes to let that engine warm up

Not crazy about my seats in my 2015 Sierra. A lot of discomfort on my left side
Had upper ball joint failure on a 23 at4. At 27k miles… something you’d think should be solid almost killed someone. Steering clear of gm.
They're junk, sucks cause I'd like to own one

Good working truck for a gmc sierra at4x
Did they sort out the transmission and lifter issues? Even if they did it's too expensive.
If it has the active fuel management it will also unfortunately have the lifter issues.
Wish they had the option to not have the brown in the interior
8600 lb towing? wouldn't that make it worst in class?
Towing cap is 8700??? Thought it would be more

300hp 500lb of torque.. lots of power but u can get a tune to give u extra 80hp
