YOU, Sir, are an EXCELLENT teacher and motivator. I am a post-rehab specialist who has also had lumbar fusion. So I feel qualified in saying that your style, your demeanor, and the caring manner in which you transfer your knowledge is SO graceful. I rarely write reviews. Your videos deserve accolades for all of the above. Sincerely, Lisa Carlson Heisler
So glad I decided to watch beyond the intro. Definitely the best video to explain this in detail!!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽♥️ I was diagnosed with spondylolisthesis today. I'll see a spine doctor tomorrow for an MRI. I experienced every single symptom described!! So glad to know it's all related to one thing (slipped vertebrae). Having hip instability and lifting weights threw my back out for sure. I thought I was crazy! Thank you!!!🙌🏽
I have this also, we can't get it to calm down, pain is staying 8,9,10, most of the day and worse at night. I have not worked in 6 months, because my job puts a killing on my lower back when climbing the poles. I had all the injections and even had the radio frequency nerve ablation, it seemed to calm down a bit, but came back with a vengeance. I'm not sure what's next but this is depressing as hell! Good luck to all out there with this.
I've had this since I was five. Hurts like heck off and on and is getting worse after 65 years. Never found a doctor, chiropractor, or medecine man who did much except make promises.
I have a military insurance and I have to get approval, but for some reason they keep sending me to beaumont hospital and refuse to send me anywhere. i have herniation L45 and L5S1. PAINFUL. Plus my thoracic is a quite bad also.
I have been diagnosed with this, but My pain goes down the front of my legs and causes me difficulty in walking. I cannot walk far before I have to stop. I have been told there is nothing they can do for me, so I live with it. Aspirin is the only thing that helps a little.

Dr Dean, thank you for your fantastic video. For PT what is the best exercise for this condition?
Thank you John. Pt that focuses on core strengthening exercises.
The spinal cord ends at L1, so it's impossible for it to be pinched at L4-L5.
Yes but the nerves don't stop there. Keep studying. Thanks for the comment.

@@Elpasospinecenter Unless I get disability I can't get surgery. But I have enough drugs to kill a horse, like 12 times over, so I'm good.
Just need some SLEEP! So sick of it!
Always worse at night. Hope you are doing better.
Can the bone regrow?
Not if the bones are fused. If there is still motion then yes.
