- Orion is a massive steel roller coaster at Kings Island. This Giga roller coaster by Bolliger & Mabillard features a 300ft drop, over 5000ft of track and a max speed of 91mph! The views from the top of this attraction are truly breathtaking!
Easy ride to marathon. We (daughter and I) had a 37 lap day on Orion. It was preceded by a 36 lap day. The drop is excellent in the back. Front to see, rear to feel. 🤘
The back makes me feel like I will fall out
@@Neon_Moon2 Yes indeed. Strong air from being pulled over the top of the lift by the front of the train. I love that feeling.
Marathon mystic instead
@@Patexer I’ve marathoned Mystic a few times. That’s a great ride. It’s so busy. No flat, straight track unlike it’s big brother next door.

@@synthnotfound4538 noo not really.. my biggest tip is just to get on it, once you do it, its an amazing experience and its not scary at all once you do it the first few times
I haven't ridden a B&M giga yet, but did recently ride Shambhala which is most of the way there and loved that. So yes.

This was my first roller coaster ever
I have ridden it, and it’s one of my favorite coasters. It’s really underrated.
Bro Orion is such a blast rode it yesterday with my family did it like 6 times.

2 things about this amazing ride:
1. The INSANE FIRST DROP
2. The coaster goes SO FAST that it was difficult to keep my eyes open during the ride.
I rode this coaster three times today, and it is hands down the BEST COASTER in Kings Island
@@MechanicalSpencer Yeah! I don't get why so many people hate on the fact that it is slightly shorter than 300 feet. It is still good and that drop is still 300 feet anyway

Little thing about me I once went to kings island and we went on almost all the rides I didn’t go on some cause I was scared and I was really young maybe 8 or 9 and my family want to go on Orion and the plan was we would ride some small rides after it and after waiting in line for over an hour and needing to pee so badly we made it and I didn’t want to go on it so I just waited for them and they were in the front row and when they got to the top it just stopped and I was really confused and after me crying and finally getting a nice lady to direct me to and from the bathroom and nearly 2 hours later they get going again and I was ✨traumatized✨

Not a huge fan of the ride itself, but I love the the one done for an around this ride, especially how it ties in with the theme and story of Flight of Fear!

I wrote it and it's one of my favorites and it's my best friend's favorite NPS do not go onto invertigo one time when I went and got stuck upside down for one hour and it's the ride that malfunctions the most of all of the rides

Hell yes! I am 14 years old and just did this yesterday, Didn’t even realize till the end where we saw our pictures, I had my hands up on the 1st drop! I was very surprised

I have rode this ride and it was 👍🏼 great. However, I made the mistake of riding this as my FIRST ROLLER COSTER, I nearly passed out twice and screamed for my mother at the end. 8/10 though.

First time riding it I was tensed & I think that’s why I fucked up side of my ribs lol but the other times I got on I was less & it was fun 🤣 my favorite are Orion, diamondback & mystic timber, I hate the beast for sure
