Just done this on a 96 Dodge Grand Caravan and I thought I had about 7 codes until you said the first and second code and last 2 (5) (5) codes were part of the signaling start and end lol worked great 👍🏻 appart my TPS is going bad lol great video
If you buy an OTC (OBD I) diagnostic tool, it will tell you exactly which fuel injector is giving you problems. The check engine code is a generic code. It's usually in the electrical circuit for that injector. A wiring diagram or schematic is a must.
The good ol K.O.E.O sequence of OBDI systems. My 2001 Dakota fortunately is able to read codes on the od display but a lot require a scanner. I am purchasing a 1993 dakota(hopefully) and having the KOEO is convenient compared to the wife’s 1994 Pontiac trans sport which requires an ALDL (just two pain in the ass years 94 95 were the transition years)
My 1991 dodge has a slight engine sort of skip or almost like a fuel cut off for a millisecond always while at the bottom of a dip in the road while going back up. Its very breif bit noticeable and only after coming down and incline and starting back up the next one. Very odd.
Hi Berry. How do we clear the check engine codes after repairing the issue " hopefully". I had a code 25, IAC motor driven circuit. Have issue with 95 ram van 3500 magnum v8 idling too fast, at start, then idling up and down while driving. Replaced IAC and throttle position sensor. Still having high and erratic idle issues. Wondering if it is the MAP sensor? But want to clear codes first to see if anything else shows.
@@user-cp5mb4rk4m What is your truck doing? Mine will randomly stall out and leave me on the side of the road for god knows how long until the son of a bitch decides to crank up again.
WOW I FOUND OUT MY TRUCK WAS MISFIRING. I TOTALLY DIDN'T KNOW THAT. Thanks for the vid

I have a 93 dakota and there is a plug in for the code reader in the engine compartment
Where?
Itll be for a obd1 adapter or reader
Is there a tool for the 10 pin port?
Question
I get:
3-5-5
I don't understand what is 3?
I have a dodge Dakota 95 V6
Dodge trucks from 87-95 do have a scan tool port it’s under the hood on the firewall by the heater motor control, it’s a 5 pin square connector.
I need details bro...I'm having a hard time running my codes now
None of my lights except the maintenance required, oil, and brake warning light come on.
I can't remember the last time I had three vehicles... I have 5 and a motorcycle... 😆
Did it fix
@@CHEAPROLLIN yup
Mine just flashes 2 sequences of 5?
Looks like a 1994 dodge dakota
How do i reset?
Does this reprogram the cluster
Not as far as I know
Thanks for the video. Helped.
I got 3855.
All dodge Ram pickups end in 55.
I just get 2 seqences of 5?
How do you check the codes on a 1990 Dodge Power Ram half ton with a 318
I'm not sure what year dodge started using onboard diagnosis software but if your truck has it the procedure will be the same as shown here
This method works for all dodge trucks with 318 TBI from 1988-1996
I figured it out, thanks
