FR its not like its some type of different formula, its literally another shot. Just like breakthrough case is literally a regular case, an infection after a vaccine doesnt make it any different that an infection in a non vaccinated person.
Marketing likely should have been the 3rd dose in a series. Very common for vaccines to have multiple rounds like polio with 3 and some have 4 rounds to get to an acceptable immunity or re-occuring shots like TDAP. But the problem is everybody wants a solution ASAP without any ambiguity. So when there is ambiguity chaus reigns and politicans bring doubt into the arena for political theater.

I work in a testing center in Illinois. The labs in our area are so far behind(almost a month) in processing PCR test that almost 2 weeks ago, the labs suspended accepting PCRs for 2wks, meaning only those with insurance and/or the $100-$150 able to get PCRs if they can find somewhere that is PCR testing. As soon as home test are shipped to stores they sell out. Many doctor offices are requiring patients to test before they will be given appts. Our hospitals EDs are treating people in the hallways. Leaving our area with only a few free testing sites to handle the rapid testing. These people, many who are sick having to stand for hours ( and around people who are not sick) in the cold of Illinois winter. Unprepared is an understatement!
How reliable are PCR tests? What about the home test kits? My mailman said he was symptomatic, got a PCR test and it was negative. A few days later he was sicker, went to the hospital, and he was positive for COVID.
The PCR test should be outlawed because they are egregiously UNRELIABLE!
