EDIT: I did this as a side dish and it was very good. I used 2 cups of water for I did not want soup. I kept water boiling just in case I would need more water. Definitely a keeper for me.
    1-½ T chicken bouillon
    ½ tsp black pepper
    1T parsley
    1-½ T minced onions
    ¼ c celery
    ½ cup instant rice
    ½ cup mushrooms
    ½ cup chicken
    PREPARE:
    3 ½ c water
    Add mixture
    Bring to boil
Simmer for 6+ minutes until all is cooked

Thank you, V. Each time you write this out, I print it and add to my Prepper Pantry Planner for me and my family. If I am no longer able to utilize my ingredients, they will know what I planned for.

Thanks for doing this! I tend to watch while I’m making dinner and rarely have pen and paper handy. I really appreciate that you’ve taken the time and trouble to do this.❤

I just L❤VE your meals in a jar! They gave me the courage to finally break into my ThriveLife pantry and start using it. So convenient and always delicious! I know many people think the freeze dried foods are too pricey, but these meals have saved us from MANY expensive restaurant meals, in particular after a hard day at work when you really don’t want to cook! Added bonus is the high quality of the food and the lack of weird artificial ingredients. Thank you sooo much!❤️🇺🇸

You can build up a decent amount by only buying the monthly sales plus the two huge ones in spring and fall.

It is a huge savings from take out, I always reach for these when I'm worn out and just don't want to cook also... 💕🇺🇸

@@femvetusa5263 that has been my strategy, and it has worked so well that I’ve had to start using auxiliary storage in our RV and under the dining cushions in our boat!❤️

It's super fast, when I use cold water to rehydrate for chicken salad it takes about 10-12 minutes. 💕🇺🇸

If I didn’t make it into a jar meal, could I use canned chicken and minute rice and the other ingredients and then just cook everything together?

Are you using FD rice? If not it takes at least 20 minutes.

Sounds great. However, not feasible for folks on low fixed income. I've seen what freeze dried foods cost by following your links. The prices are shockingly high, even "on sale". Forget long term storage, which is what freeze dried foods are touted for... How about short term survival? 🤔
