Davis, I've been a long time viewer of your channel and have watched almost all your videos but have never commented on your videos. But after watching this video, I must say this... I've watched tons of so-called option gurus videos on RUclips and many claim they're millionaires or got rich from trading, but they NEVER show their trading account or portfolio.
But you on the other hand, have never once said you're a millionaire or talk about being rich. But from your portfolio it's clear you're a millionaire! You're the Silent Millionaire :) And you're so humble & genuine from what I can tell of your videos. Why can't more RUclipsrs be like you??? I'm so glad I found your channel, Davis. You've won a supporter for life!

I agree Loganeer. I also have watched lots of Davis videos and have not commented, but I do sense Davis sincere desire to help rather than sell "training videos". It does seem that Davis does not need to make money on training videos. He makes money trading investing, researching and diversifying. Many other youtubers somehow claim they can make millions but require $40.00 / month for subscriptions... sure.
I do think that Davis is at a point that he could be more helpful by showing how to really help a true beginner get started on this trading path. By this point I got his strategies and methodology down pat, and it makes sense, but still, I do not know the best broker and tool to use to test these strategies.
I think it would be such a powerful video (or video series) if Davis could show us how he would "help" someone to get started - or how he would start from scratch - with, let's say $10K on hand: What platform and tool he would use, how would he paper trade" initially and, eventually, how he would start real trades.

People dont understand that the prices of things are never going back down. This inflation is deeper than we think. Those buying groceries are well aware that the real inflation is much over 10%. The increments dont match our income, yet certain investors still earn over $365,000 in stocks and assets. Wish I could accomplish that.

By far the best video you have put out so far. In all walks of life different revenue streams is the way forward. For trading/investing you have put forward a way of delivering this. In all of your previous videos you put forward ONE way of doing it but this video shows how you combine them all together to create a profitable safe way to trade options no matter what the market is doing. I love the T bill part by the way that is new to me.
I am based in uk and have traded for many years but this video will transform the way I view my total portfolio and how I can participate and profit no matter what mr market is doing.

He talked about it in another video. The idea is to roll. And if and when the stock keeps going down, at that point, if you believe the stock will keep dropping, then take either a loss or be assigned. And that's why you do cash secured puts on the stocks that you don't mind owning in the first place.

  • @rsbh8886

Hi Davis. I thought all your shares are safe as the broker only acts as a custodian of the shares. The shares are in your name if you hold long positions so should not be at risk if the broker goes down. The SIPC comes into play for cash held by the brokers. The limit is $500k but Schwab holds additional insurance. I am not sure of the treatment of options or T Bills in such circumstances.
