- I visited Somerset Park to watch Ayr United 0-2 Dundee in the Scottish Championship. Two goals from Luke McCowan secured the win for Dundee against his old club!

I'd love to visit Ayr once in my lifetime. I've heard some really good things about Ayr, it seems to be a lovely seaside town inhabited by many likeable people. From a season ticket holder at a new-build stadium, I really miss the sh#tty Archibald Leitch stands with their 500 coats of paint and how they rattle and groan in the wind. I also used to love the floodlights that moved. Great video, i'll be watching more

First game I ever went to. Lived there 13 years. Always try and support them as best I can even if it’s on FM these days
With the Ayr United sending off it seemed to be for a second bookable offence and the referee came over to check with linesman that he had booked him earlier in the second half

As an engishman with strong Scottish roots and family being from ayshire I hope ayr do it! Already a soft spot for Kilmarnock even got a shirt from when I went to a game as a kid so to see ayr at the top would be excellent

I’m a Kilmarnock supporter but I have to say I’d love to see Ayr win the championship this season (if we stay up). The rivalry between the two teams hasn’t lived up to much in my lifetime and the highlight of my season last year was the Ayrshire derby away in Ayr.

Everything wrong with modern football in that statement. The fact a small club like Ayr United can’t stream their games because it might cost UEFA some viewers for Real MAdrid, Man Utd etc. Madness

Really don’t understand why so many fans act like every game is some sort of massive rivalry and enjoy the other team losing more than their team winning. Without Dipo we’d be 3rd bottom tbh and the better team won on the night. Our chances went when Musonda and Kirk got injured

Dorset help Ayrs case when Dundee are one of the largest fouling teams in Scotland and the referee couldn't give less of a care in the world when he manages ayr games as him, along with his father (an ex referee) are die hard kilmarnock fans. You said it yourself the amount of unrequired cards was pathetic, like playing handicapped for every time he manages ayr games as a referee given he openly says he hates them.
Not a great follower of scotish football....but i have gone off Dundee a bit!
