Love the videos mate, been watching since early on. Dont comment much, but wanted to say you seem like a right genuine decent fella and have done so much for scottish football in a short period of time. Keep up the solid work and all the best 👍
as a Killie fan i love the derbies. I want them in the top League. Ayr should have a biiger support than they do atm. Now the have an owner who is trying to improve all aspects of their club , Hopefully the fans return to back them. You could cal their ground an old tradional ground, But its been neglected for far to long. A derby in the Premier would be good for Scottish football.
Another excellent video Sam. Somerset was easily my fav away game back in the day. (fans swapping ends at half-time was always entertaining 😎 ). Goal end sheds always great generate atmosphere in. Good to see developments taking place with minimal impact on the character of the place. Cheers Sam 👍
I was at this game, Ayr Utd did well. Would like to see league reconstruction in the Scottish top flight, Hope you come do Glenafton Ath v Cumnock Jnrs on 11th May
I’ve said it before SO MANY times and I’ll say it again. The likes of Ayr United, Raith Rovers, Dundee and Rangers are putting Celtic’s board to shame! Celtic Park is in need of DRASTIC upgrades and renovations from an increase in capacity, increased standing section to a renovated main stand with new changing rooms, tunnel and hospitality suites. We are BY FAR the richest club in Scotland with the most resources yet our board are showing zero ambition and there is virtually zero work being done to improve Celtic Park! Such a shame!
I could be wrong but wasn't it Ayr Utd owner Barr's construction who built Celtic Park? About time anyway, Ayrshire deserves 2 decent clubs and stadiums.
No he never built Celtic park but did build many others however he did try build a new out of town stadium but local authority approved it with many conditions that wasn’t financially viable so bill Barr did try contrary to what others think
@scottirvine121 Barr was part of the Celtic Park construction. Not the whole thing but some of it. He couldn't get the permission from the twisted council to build the stadium. Ayr eventually sold the stadium to a house builder subject to conclusion of contracts, Ayr were primed to move out and develop a new stadium (council still making stupid suggestions like they must improve a nearby roundabout on a trunk road maintained by the scottish government) then just as the council run out of crap ideas to block Barr / Ayr any further, the economic crash happened and the house builder pulled out.
Yeah, Ayr United! Why not, indeed? I often think if I’d been the Saudi Sovereign wealth fund I’d buy Ayr, Greenock Morton or Queen of the South and just go out and the win the Chamion’s league for laugh! They’d all be great clubs. I honestly think Queen of the South should do better when you look at their catchment area. Good luck to Ayr. It’s a really nice place and the atmosphere looks great
That’s because they know they are a small team unlike killie with a 14,000 stadium and a hardcore support of just over 3,000, empty stands shit atmosphere. Ayr is a smaller stadium but much better atmosphere any time I’ve been to a Celtic game there.. think Ayr is also the biggest town in Ayrshire is it not !
The same terrace is there still. They just put a cover over it (It is Scotland afterall) and added some seats and revenue making facilities. The club will benefit financially and the fans can enjoy the terrace all year round.
How impressive is Ayr's new stand? What other stadiums could do with improvements?
Aberdeen desperately need a new stadium. Don't know if it will ever happen.
Are they rebuilding the terracing that's in front of the new stand?
@@grantelliot9803 yes
@@grantelliot9803 Terracing is staying the same, gives us the choice of sitting down or the traditional standing in that area.
Currant bun "heid" aff the day?
Thank you so much for the photo Sam I can truly say life is complete 🤝
More than welcome mate, thank you for supporting the channel and watching my content

The 5 boys you interviewed are my pals at 5:27
The lower league teams are progressing and Dundee’s facilities are on par with the trenches of 1916. Disgraceful.

Sam, you didnt even mention the newly resurfaced pitch made of grass, unlike our crappy neighbours. Theirs looks like a green mirror on tv. Awful

The championship is always great at this time of the year 👏
As a Gers man I used to loathe Broonie, but all the best to him now and in the future..... unless he returns to the piggery off course.

Go and make it happen then...
7:03 there is only 10 teams in the league so 😂😂😂😂😂
How does that make the teams so competitive?
Elephant in the room is Pittodrie. What a dump..
Can’t even sit in seats in away stand
Sam whole life : ✈️🚗⏰💻
Travelling , watching games , editing ❤
Sam are you going to United v rovers today
Of course!!
Not much of a stand. A wee bit if seating and some terracing? Ayr has zero chance to ever getting up to the premier? Only one Team in Ayrshire!😊
