Hey John, I happen to be at Bergen-County Harley Davidson Today, and saw your Son, putting a plate on a "Bike" Today, I told him Good Luck, (I won't ruin the Surprise). I'm the Guy with the Triumph Rocket-3R on Bike Night the other day. Good choice on his part !!👍👍
Put the same seat on my Challenger after hearing you and others rave about the step up. Best seat out there! Virtually no breakin time on the tuck n roll.
I got my saddlemen SDC seat about a month ago and also bought that security screw but didn’t think it was to hard to steal if you had half a brain so I purchased ROBERT BECKER DESIGN SEAT LOX. I didn’t get it delivered yet but I think it will work better than just the security screw from saddlemen. That seat you got looks sweet. Looking forward to meeting you at the HD Homecoming in July. Ride safe brother
Both seats look great. I like the road sofa as a good all around seat. Especially having the removable backrest. Having a problematic back i love having a backrest. I ordered a road sofa a couple weeks ago.
Just ordered the road sofa through your link. Gotta keep the wife happy. She's not a fan of the CVO stock seat. Neither am I. It's a win win situation! Thanks John!
I have the same setup on my 19 RGS. I use the Road Sofa for long trips and the step up for around town. I have 64k on my road sofa and it’s still in great shape.
I love how the new harley bars are much more straight t-bar like design. That would work wonderfully until you can make the risers and handle bars upgrade.
Hey John, just put a step up seat on my street glide I’ve seen some negative comments about the seat on other videos but like anything else I trust my rear end and so far it’s a comfortable seat.
I have this seat on my 24 road glide and it does raise you about an inch and pushes you forward. It may be because it's new and will break in, but it definitely pushes you up and forward.
When you pulled out of the garage, you had it loaded with foot over the rear brake and kept it loaded I don’t have one, but I think the RoadSofa looks better on your touring bike.
Hey John the new step up seat looks bad ass!! just curious how come you didn’t go with the diamond stitch on the back this time? still looks great. enjoying the new content on blackjack.
Hey John Bike is looking great I have one in the Whiskey Fire color. I dont know if you know this but those flat plastic pieces on the bottom of your side covers pop off, there to protect the paint from passenger boots. looks way better with them off especially if you dont ride two up. just a heads up
Hi John. Love the videos. I am traveling from Florida to Pennsylvania in June. Where do you keep your Sunpass/EZ Pass? Will it work in the saddlebag/fairing? I usually don’t ride with the pass in Florida since they automatically read my registered license plate. I don’t think all states do that though. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Hey John... I have 3 different seats on my custom Road King.. I have Mustang full tour with backrest when I put the fairing and tourpak on...I have a Danny Grey Butt Crack solo when I ride solo and am going for a clean look... And a stock seat.. hopefully some of those other guys will realize its "OKay" to have more than one seat ....lol.. Lookin good Brother!!!
Love my Road Sofa, it does raise me up about 7/8” and it’s taken me about 1k miles to get used to that (I’ve got short legs..) seat is broke in now with about 3k miles on it since last August. I’m probably in the minority, however I like the looks of the road sofa on your bike better than the tuck and roll - which does look good, I’m just more partial to the touring look. Either way you can’t go wrong with a Saddleman
Love the seat, in fact I now have one because of mad max, I like the diamond stitch on the passenger seat, just like you had on mad maxx , looks a little plain on the passenger seat.
Great video John!! One question, what is your inseam? I've found that matters more than total height. Also, I visited Mike and the Guys at RirkRak today at the headquarters. Prett cool place, I will be dropping a video of the visit this Tuesday 4/30/2024.
HI John, now that you have had the tuck n roll for a while now. Do you feel that if you got it with the backrest option, you would use it often? Im crossed between getting the TR w/Backrest but.....ehh
Do you ride with the extended reach seat or standard? I’m ordering a road sofa for my 24 Road Glide. I’m six feet tall and am installing the 9.5 inch Thrashin risers and midbend bars Trying to figure out which would work best for me.
Anyway Saddleman can work that up for you? I think it would look really sick if you had the tuck and roll through the entire seat.😊 … I’ve got a knock off Harley seat with a tuck and roll cover tip-2-toe & use a adjustable Harley backrest. Sick……
If the seat ain't comfortable and you want it because it supposedly fits your style, that's ridiculous!! Comfort is the most important thing to have on your bike!! If the seat fits your bike it fits your style! Now if you only bar hop and go for ice cream and 20 miles then being comfortable doesn't matter 😜
wondering why you need the road sofa John.. u never ride 2 up and certainly wont be riding 2 up cross country!😂😂. Step up tuck snd roll is bomb.. thats who you are brother! don’t need no stinking road sofa!😂😂😂😂
Nah, new seat doesn't look like it fits the bike. Looks like it should be on a Low Rider ST. You won't use the Road Sofa, i.e. the white seat for Mad Max. So send the Road Sofa to me. I'll use the hell out of it and then give you a real review
The one...and only...single thing, I can possibly think of, the one bright side of NOT owning a bike right now, is it raining and stopping my ride plans. 😳 profound sadness has occurred.
That Road Sofa Seat looks Fantastic! I Love It!

That seat fits and looks Great!!! The road sofa is a great seat for a limited.
New seat looks killer!
So much kick ass going on here John - we love it!
Put the same seat on my Challenger after hearing you and others rave about the step up. Best seat out there! Virtually no breakin time on the tuck n roll.
We love to hear that! Thank you for the order
Nice video keep up the good work Cycle Fanatix
The Road Sofa looks sweet. Need one for my Road King.
John, I also saw Cam at Bergen. He enjoys working there. I said Hello are you Cam? He was a little shocked. LOL!
I got my saddlemen SDC seat about a month ago and also bought that security screw but didn’t think it was to hard to steal if you had half a brain so I purchased ROBERT BECKER DESIGN SEAT LOX. I had a Saddlemen and couldn't wait to get rid of it! Went with the Mustang Super Touring, so more comfortable!
John the new seat looks Great! Road Sofa is for the long Trip ,
That road sofa looks reel good
Always something goin on in the garage. Love it. I'm rootin fer ya.
Definitely love both seats but the tuck and roll is amazing
Congrats on the new seat, I just put a step up on my Dyna this winter and my wife loves the step up on her Sport Glide
I got the Robert Becker seat lock. Veteran owned and keys are specific to lock can get their back locks so only have to have one key if you want.
Both seats look great. I like the road sofa as a good all around seat. Especially having the removable backrest. Having a problematic back i love having a backrest. I ordered a road sofa a couple weeks ago.
That’s a beautiful seat! Might have to look into one for my 2012 Road glide! But that road sofa would be nice also!
Just ordered the road sofa through your link. Gotta keep the wife happy. She's not a fan of the CVO stock seat. Neither am I. It's a win win situation! Thanks John!
Good choice!
Both look sweet!

I may have to get one of the seat sofas sometime 👍 both seats look good man
Looks great brother!!
Hey John, just put a step up seat on my street glide I’ve seen some negative comments about the seat on other videos but like anything else I trust my rear end and so far it’s a comfortable seat.
👊👍👍
4:24 is that a bunch of shark demon lights I see?
Looks great as always ride safe and enjoy
Awesome looking seat John!! Was wondering if they made that model for a softail ( 2002 Fat Boy ) . Keep up the great work and ride safe 🤘🏻💯
Looks great boss
Looks like you’ve changed the windshield? Can’t seem to find a video on that??!! Thanks, great reviews!!
I actually like the looks of the road sofa better! I'm sure it's more comfortable also.
@John do you like the tuck and roll over the other options for comfort or aesthetics?
I have this seat on my 24 road glide and it does raise you about an inch and pushes you forward. It may be because it's new and will break in, but it definitely pushes you up and forward.
I sat one one in Daytona, it was really hard. how long till it take to soften up?
When you pulled out of the garage, you had it loaded with foot over the rear brake and kept it loaded I don’t have one, but I think the RoadSofa looks better on your touring bike.
Great seat. Have you seen one with the carbon fiber finish?
Thank you
Hey John the new step up seat looks bad ass!! just curious how come you didn’t go with the diamond stitch on the back this time? still looks great. enjoying the new content on blackjack.
Hey I am torn between the SDC PRO and this step up. What makes you chose step up over SDC?
Hey John, have you given out all the CD headlights yet?
Hey John Bike is looking great I have one in the Whiskey Fire color. I dont know if you know this but those flat plastic pieces on the bottom of your side covers pop off, there to protect the paint from passenger boots. looks way better with them off especially if you dont ride two up.
just a heads up

U didn't go with the Gripper style material. Thought for sure after you seen Cams seat.
Do you have a saving code for a saddleman seat that you can share?
Are you going to change the stock Air Cleaner?
I like the other seat best … Road Sofa …..the stitching is what I like
Love my Road Sofa, it does raise me up about 7/8” and it’s taken me about 1k miles to get used to that (I’ve got short legs..) seat is broke in now with about 3k miles on it since last August. Any chance you were one of the first to see th 24 road glide?
The difference between the seats is like the difference between a family car and a roadster. Best wishes🤘
HI John, now that you have had the tuck n roll for a while now. Do you feel that if you got it with the backrest option, you would use it often? Im crossed between getting the TR w/Backrest but.....ehh
Looking at purchasing the road sofa. Does the standard seem to keep you in the stock position? My Harley sundowner pushes me ahead.
Hi, I have a stock CVO seat with Bad Boys backrest on my roadglide. How do these seats compare? They both look badass! Thanks in advance
Great content brother! I wanted to ask if you have a indy ridge boot promo code?
Yes below in the video description
I got the SDC and its WAY more comfortable than the step up IMO Looks good tho.
Robert Becker seat locks are the best. Anyone with that key can still get your seat taken.
I think the big road sofa Seat go with a turpack.
They look good together.
One doesn't look right without the other.
Be careful, ride safe.
Step up seat does it lift up the reach. My question is because I’m short so I’m always worried about the inseem real state 😆
Do you ride with the extended reach seat or standard? I’m ordering a road sofa for my 24 Road Glide.
I’m six feet tall and am installing the 9.5 inch Thrashin risers and midbend bars
Trying to figure out which would work best for me.
Did that seat push you closer to the bars? And higher up?
No
When are you getting the docking hardware? Would love to see a video install on that. Harley's instructions are horrible.
lol that’s why I don’t live in jersey anymore… I know that bike is going to be a bad ass bike soon I’ll send you some sun from sunny Florida
Thrashing chrome looks as good as Harley or better. Haven’t seen in person though.
Those lights will fit 2015 up
Kind of like the road sofa better. I like the stitching better. Not a fan of the tuck and roll look but bike looks great.
I’m 5 10 and have extended reach road sofa. Don’t know how you are comfortable at 6 2.
My Road sofa is on its way
Awesome!
Anyway Saddleman can work that up for you? I think it would look really sick if you had the tuck and roll through the entire seat.😊 … I’ve got a knock off Harley seat with a tuck and roll cover tip-2-toe & use a adjustable Harley backrest. Sick……
i vote road sofa lol

He must get this stuff for free because they aren't even available on their website
wondering why you need the road sofa John.. u never ride 2 up and certainly wont be riding 2 up cross country!😂😂. Step up tuck snd roll is bomb.. thats who you are brother! don’t need no stinking road sofa!😂😂😂😂
I think the road sofa looks better
I have a limited with a road sofa... Great seat. I really don't like the look of the step up. Too squared off.
John you will not get a sore DUPA ha ha
The seat looks great! You gotta do something about those ugly wheels. That's the only thing I don't like with the new Harleys
Sorry, I like the Road Sofa look better.
Road soafa looks better

🚬😎
I think the RS looks better.
