I just bought the 2023 Street Glide CVO brand new 3 weeks ago. I still have a 2019 Road Glide CVO that I also bought brand new. I have had several different bikes being that im 62 years old and I have to say, without a doubt, the BEST bike I've ever rode. It is smooth, VERY fast, comfortable and extremely nimble. The Stereo actually is loud enough at speeds to hear crisp and clear. The Brembo brakes AND the inverted forks are simply amazing. The price was right since it was a 2023 model and I dont have to add anything but a set of slip on pipes. Amazing.
I did some significant test riding of both the Road Glide and the Street Glide. Fantastic bikes kudos to HD. I ended up trading for the Road Glide, because it did a little better on wind protection than the SG. Coming off bikes that have had the ability to mount lower fairings, there's not many options for wind coming up from underneath the tank
The new Street Glide is a looker for sure. Elegant is the proper word for it and i don't mind paying a premium price if the product is of a premium quality. I have to say i really like this! Well done Harley 👍🏼
@@thomasreyes2857 Not sure why you say that? Kudos to Polaris for what it has done with the Indian brand (not to mention BMW w/R-18 too) and how they reposition the Indian as a direct competitor to America's oldest continuous motorcyclist manufacturer. As Chase said in the video, you decide how you spend your money. Because Polaris saw how well H-D was performing, they created the Victory line of bikes. And when Polaris had the chance to incorporate the legendary Indian moniker, they stepped-up and invested in some heritage to better go head-to-head against the Motor Company. H-D stepped up & responded to this new competition and we the riding consumers are the beneficiaries of this free enterprise competition.
I saw one today and was highly impressed. But I opened the saddle bags and the overspray was pretty much in my face. I wouldn’t want to see that every time I opened the bags. It was a white model and looked sort of like someone spray painted it and forgot to tape it off ? I’m talking about on the rim where the gasket would seat. Also just pushing very gently on the side of the bag when opened with one finger it bent in. I don’t know if all the bikes have always been like that but my other bikes always felt nice and strong when touching the sides of the bags. BUT!: I’ve never had a bike with bags that open on the top. All mine always opened on the sides and I’d have to slam them shut pretty hard as they aged. (Goldwings)
I dont even have my license yet. I went to look at a 2016 Street Glide CVO and walked out with a 2024 Street Glide - stage 1... wont be riding til July but cant wait! Your review reaffirms my choice!
That orange color is amazing and clean as possible. I would like to get my hands on one asap. How much hp does it have, are the grips and saddle heated as well?
I prefer the stretched bags look of the old specials. But my first bike will likely be an Indian Scout unless I find a deal on an old Street Glide special.

Well there ya go. HDs don't make great race bikes. In other news, studies show that chainsaws don't make the best steak knives either. Beautiful bike, but my late model Road Glide Special just took a $4,000 hit to it’s trade in value so I will have to pass. By the way, I wish the MoCo would make steady improvements to their junk engine internals and strive to make the engine bulletproof.
2019 HD Ultra Limited owner, purchased new. I ride 18K + miles every year. Transmission oil transfer to the primary problem from day one. Engine oil sumping from day one. Low compression in front cylinder. It’s currently on the third go around to fix the oil transfer problem. It’s been sitting at the dealership for three months waiting on HD to decide how to fix their problem. and this is after working directly with the factory representative prior to dropping it off to be fixed. For $31K+ ? And a motor company that tries to ignore their defects. Nobody should by this brand! Why would I ever have another one?

How long till that fancy screen shits the bed? How much to replace it? How long will spares be available? And why does a twenty six THOUSAND dollar motorcycle have the same gas cap as a 2001 SV 650?
Funny how that applies to damned near all motorcycles, cars and trucks today....Believe it or not as far as electronics they are in the top few...As far as paint and chrome they may be at the top of the entire transportation industry and this is from a man who loves ALL makes.
Harley fell very short on the front and rear fenders. Rinky dink sizes on both ends. This is a touring bike. Rode it on a wet road for half an hour , ended up with water filled boot and wet pants up to my knees. Bike was a sloppy mess. Never had this happen before in 45 years of riding. Extra money for navigation , the windshield has to be replaced. They did not re-create the hammock seat for this year and the other touring seat is hard as a rock. This has a lot of bugs to get worked out. Harley needs to offer new proper sized front and rear fenders for anyone who wants them, free. Who the hell did the test riding on these?
Buy a Road King....The plastic windshield works great, you can remove it in 3 seconds....You can build it up to tour or strip it down in a flash and you aren't stuck with all the crap.
Harley’s are way over priced and ROI is no where near a gold wing or Voyager. Just sold this and got a used voyager for a fraction of the price. Rides way better and smoother than a Harley
