I've been getting started into doing small carbon fiber projects for my car. i am uncertain as to what vacuum pump and overflow tank to get. would there be one you would recommend?
Why do you have to stick a piece of double-sided glue vertically like that when using a vacuum bag? Sorry, my English is not good so I have to use Google Trans 3:35
Great channel, great work. If you lower your vac after infusion it won't leave the weave flat, more depth and shows off the weave a little more. Just a suggestion. 4x4 twill looks very cool. Check the dash I did a wet layup thin sheet and heat to form. Again excellent work you're doing. ruclips.net/video/d0wvPMOldd8/видео.html
Plenty of videos out there but thought I'd share my take on making flat sheet. Next video will making something special from it! 🤞
Thanks for showing us
Magnifique ❤️
Why did you cut the vacuum hose in the end? You could re-use it later.
Wao que bonito. 👌 me gustaría saber que resina estas usando ?
Hi, it's in the description
Do you not have to put the item in the oven for post cure?

Why do you keep disconnecting the catch pot line?
Just clamp it and leave it

I use the ec4 pump from easy composites, also the catch pot from them to.
@@CarbonWorkshops thank you do you have any issues with it creating vapor? I assume not but I think it’s worth asking?
@@Codybarenbrugge no issues at all 👍
@@CarbonWorkshops awesome thank you very much

Интересно как вы матрицы делаете
how do you calculate how much resin you need?
I'm unsure, but wish I did before I started this haha
You weigh the cloth and that is how much resin you need, then add approximately 700gsm for the infusion mesh
