    Greg hits 182,
Lillee gets 4 wkts in his last spell,
Marsh got 5 catches behind wickets.

Historic moment. G. Chappell and Lillee had already announced before the start of this test that it would be their last. Seeing his two mates deciding to retire Marsh decided during the test that he would follow suit. That is the reason why the scorecard does not congratulate him because at that point in time they were not made aware.
End of an era for Australia in many ways.

@@kamrankhan-lj1ng what man. with misbah they had a 5 day test match series is it not? it was a draw! if they become world class again they will get 5 series. but with cramped up calendars it is impossible to have 5 match series. Even india gets only 4 test matches in australia and lately are getting 5 test series with england( due to huge markets).
pak wont get even 3 series on those horrendous pitches of middle-east. But surely when they tour they get 3 test matches. 3 test is a lot if you tour a lot. 3 nz,aus,ind,eng,wi,srilanka,sa=21 test matches. that is the right mix for a 2 year period. And they also play million one day and t-20 matches!
so barring aussies and india vs england , 5 test matches are ruled out.
I also endorse 5 day reduced to 4 day with 45 minutes extra or 100 overs each day. so that you are exactly missing a session max!

Lillee, Chappell, Marsh - all a cut above and a hard act to follow.
Little wonder the Aussies struggled after that, just like the Windies in the late 1990s and the Aussies again after Warne, McGrath, Ponting and others all went.
From what I've heard, read and seen Kim Hughes might not have been the greatest captain, but just for myself it looks like he was better than his record, certainly his manner of leaving the job was singularly unfortunate.
But then the support he got from the public and the media wasn't that great either. Even Allan Border said that he wasn't always the best vice captain under Hughes. I doubt anyone could've done very well with such a gap in the team as that great three left.

Imagine Skindar bakhat as I saw some of his available performances was much technical bowler but why he just played so less cricket in his 12 years career?
Sirfaraz played fair matches as key bowler and senior to Imran, but I think his tense with Imran was political.
