I have a hard time understanding why anyone would complain that this isn't 'on topic' for Wonky Wednesday. How do we get to be so entitled in such a short amount of time? We're lucky to have you, to have your teaching, to have any videos at all - I find it offensive that people try to edit or sway you, rather than being appreciative. This is just a gorgeous project. 💚

How beautiful this bag is! I’ve been contemplating starting another rice bag but am trying to wrap up a couple other projects first, one of those projects being a pair of socks using your tutorial videos. Each week as I watch I think, oh I’ll use that square for the next bag, and then each subsequent week I think, no, this one. 😂 I think I will start an elephant square in this style soon but at the rate I stitch it will take years to finish. I’m loving your park life videos as well. I woke in the wee hours this morning and when I couldn’t get back to sleep, picked up my iPad and noticed your post was up and started watching. I did fall back asleep and dreamed that I got to visit you in your new home. 😂 I live in Vermont in the USA and have never been to England, but it was a very nice dream.😊
Stunning, k3n! A true work of art, and functional, too. The functionality of it just adds another dimension of “art” to the bag, as well! You and your friend are both blessed - you, for your skill at needlework, and you & her for your friendship with each other. ❤
I just love this. The matriarchal elephant is a wonderful symbol. Reminds me that somewhere I have an unfinished rice bag using one of your wonky log cabin designs….
Just beautiful ❤❤❤❤. I appreciate you telling us it took “months” to complete. That reminds me that I don’t need to rush the slow stitch projects. 😂 I was still working on Monday’s project (almost finished) while watching this. I love it so much it might have to become a…..rice bag.
