Stuart that was the most exciting and easy project I've ever followed , i have been quilting since the early 80s , I'm now 70 yrs but my knees can't do the floor work joining the 3 layers together ,so I've not done quilting for a few years , but after finding your vlogs I'm over the moon to do all of your projects. I've just finished my rice bag and absolutely LOVE it ..thank you so much for inspiring me , onto the glass case now and what ever comes up next . Love and blessings from Australia xx....

Additional uses for rice bags - add a bag of rice or grain and use as a door stop, carry craft supplies, use when shopping for items that fall through a shopping trolley/cart, a toiletries bag forr travelling, a small bag for beach necessities, a gift bag for an odd shaped gift, a bag for the car to contain clutter, kids small toy bag,.... I'm sure we'll all find dozens more. Thanks for the clear instructions and demo.
I use "orphan" quilt blocks to make bags for my sewing room (thread and notions storage for a current project).

Thanks for using inches;) People try to give Americans a hard time for refusing to change to metric, but as we say, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”, or for us with *slightly* better grammar and more clarification, “if it isn’t broken, do not go trying to “fix” it; you’ll only make it worse and actually break it for good”. ...and since we got on beautifully without the metric system for centuries, we felt no need to change anything. So far, life is carrying on well enough in inches, feet, ounces, pounds, pints, quarts, gallons, and even Fahrenheit temperatures. We really tough it out with these “archaic” ways;)
Oh, yes, and cute little bag, thanks for the demo. It would good to size up for reusable grocery bags that cinch up and keep groceries from falling out while en route to their destination :)

I know I must make some of these for gifts but the first one is for me. Always carry some hand work with me kitting, embroidery or quilting and this bag will be perfect for all those little things needles, threads, scissors and so on. Thank you, my grand daughter needs one for the important things any 8 year old carried. Oh yes, must use the special fabrics I have put aside for a special project. Danish heart quilt is on my short list for both of my grand daughters.

I love your tutorials. As others have said I always learn something. You make each step very clear. I’ve watched every one of your Accuquilt videos I could find. Please do more especially a double wedding ring quilt. I will be making these bags for gifts as they will be great for knitters who use multiple colors because they can run different yarn through the tab gaps. Thank you for another fabulous video. I would watch you sew anything. 💕

Thoroughly enjoyed your video. You mention so many useful hints to keep us from making mistakes/oopsies! I've done all those things you mentioned at some time in my sewing life and now that I'm older, it's even more important to remember, for example, to change the stitch length right away so as not to forget. I'm definitely going to watch this again while I'm making one of these rice bags. 🙂
