Great shots man. It's definitely the process that makes it worthwhile. Really like your insight and attempts. Did you edit the shots in post at all? The colors are crazy good.
Thanks for the scenery. Enjoyed the video. The M8 photos are very green. Can that be corrected in Lightroom? They look good just need to be colour corrected
BTW, when you zone focus on an M8 do not use the lens markings for the aperture you use, but go one stop wider, i.e. if you use f8, use the lens markings for f5.6 to calculate your focus zone. I know it is counterintuitive but from what I remember this is the right way of doing it
oh wow! thanks! Yeah, that actually makes a lot of sense. Because an f/5.6 on full frame would be more like an f/8 on a crop sensor. Thanks for the tip! Never heard that one before. Not sure how much longer i'll have the M8, been itching for full frame M. hehe
@@JustinPhillip Oh no you are bitten by the Leica bug :) I liked the M9, I did not connect well with the M240, but the M10 and M11 were nice as well. The M9 of course always has a special look
thank you, i appreciate that. The case is a custom leather case from Luigi. He makes real leather cases for all Leica cameras. Check it out: ebay.us/yZgH3e - Really high quality!
Im in the look for an m8, and I came across this video, in definitely buying one it’s all I needed to convince myself however, I saw some pictures have a blue/green cast specifically on the shadows, is that the camera files or a preset you put in?
Why do people still think you need their consent to take pictures of them in a public space? Especially in this world where this same woman must have been recorded by 20 surveillance cameras and dash cams between here and her place... it's a bit silly. Don't expect privacy in public.

Its
very enjoyable video and cool pics. It is the process man that makes it fun, the uncertainty, the challenge etc. Keep at it, you are good! Thanks

Great stuff Justin! How works the Ricoh viewfinder? Are you zone focussing cos I imagine the patch is not in view? Keep on keeping on✌️🇦🇺
Zone focusing, yupp. Thank you! The ricohs are awesome tho, so large and clear
@@JustinPhillip might look out for one, like all this gear prices are rising…🤔
I loved the video loved ur photos and loved ur words keep going ur dope!
Thank you!
What’s the case you’re using on the M8? It looks neat
And I’ve just finished watching this - you definitely do not suck at Street Photography. There’s alot of great images over those 3 days

Yeah thats just the way i graded them, i didnt change the WB
Hi Justin, great stuff mate, I guess you are mostly zone focusing throughout on this video, on your M8?
Most definitely.
is the blue/green hue more extreme in the corners or am I imagining that
Its just the weird grade i did. And the lens has some vignette
@@JustinPhillip good to know. I’m shopping for an M8 and I like to shoot JPG, so I was worried when I saw stuff about corner color shift
That was an EL-Merit lens, right?
Yupp. 21mm Elmarit, Non-aspherical
Why the green-blue hue - is that intended ?
white balance was off. didn't personally mind it.
Can use evf on leica m8 sir ?
Nope
Are you a personal assistent?
😂😂 What?! No
@@JustinPhillip Ok ;)
You're too hard on yourself and I shutter to say the Sigma FP. Thanks for sharing your journey.
Thanks for watching!
1st amendment right no consent but it is nice to ask tbh
👌🏼
