I love the tin baskets on the shelf. I would suggest turning them so the handles are showing, move them over a bit and find some greenery to add to the shelf as well. Very creative and very detail oriented on fitting the desk in and making it look so like a built-in!

Also-I love how the brushed knobs on the desk match the 4 containers up on the shelf...it gives the whole design a cohesive look.😍

Absolutely gorgeous, if there is anyway that you can put a piece of glass over the top of the desk you’ll have no regrets. My husband did that with my makeup vanity, that houses makeup, curling irons and my vanity 3 years later still looks new. Just something to think about my husband said it ran him about $30 to $40 dollars, well worth it.

You could paint the tins a different color than the desk area. Then label them with a hanging tag. I have loved every one of your videos. Thanks so much for sharing. I learn so much from you.
Beautiful transformation. Your husband is talented. Love the look. I agree with you. The tin containers aren’t the best idea. Baskets or a few more baskets with some potted greens might soften the area. Still love, love how things turned out ❤️
Love your new workspace. If you don’t like the metal containers after you live with them awhile you could paint them, they fit perfectly on the shelf!
Great advice!i would like to add that tidying up and organizing can also do a lot to make your home feel good, and doesn’t cost a thing
How about adding GREENERY to your tin containers on upper wall??? It will bring NATURE into your Sunroom and it will feel cozy, peaceful. Love the existing GREENERY on file cabinet. Very creative team work indeed... GREAT vision!

Love it, love it, love it! Perfect with the beadboard. I like the way you added shelves to properly fill the space between the desk and file cabinet to arrive at the width you wanted. For what it's worth, I like the tin boxes on the shelf. You already have basketry in the room, so you don't have to have more. I'd stick with the tin. They add some glimmer to the room and if it's very sunny in the afternoon the light will glimmer off of them just a bit to add brightness. It IS a great room for an easel though a north facing window offers the best light for painting (I have BFA in painting....).

On the shelf, I think it would look nice if you soften it up. Maybe soft baskets or just regular baskets, faux flowers, your style is beautiful so it’ll be beautiful and functional.

Add some twine to top and bottom of tins. Put paper bag labels with black letters saying what in them or put a design or letters. I say paperbag because your colors are so serene or use black labels. I think you will like the then!

I dream of doing built-in bookcases/window seat around our family room window, but then we would loose space for the loveseat as well as computer desk so it's a hard decision to make. I can't click on your videos fast enough! I love the simplicity yet beauty of your home. You and your husband are both so talented. The wood/rattan accents look great and tie things together-the chair, mirror above the desk, baskets, and blinds. The metal buckets don't look bad, but I was thinking some baskets or wooden crates may be cute. I know that you'll come up with something you love. I adore that standing globe! The kids helping was adorable. I can't wait to see the other 1/2!
