As time goes on it begins to dawn upon you that their silent praise of the bees is somewhat disturbing, like they're worshipping the bees as gods and treating the hives like temples. As you spend more time you begin to notice something, the silent beekeepers are weirdly synchronized, like they always know what each other is doing and will do without ever talking. Then it hits you. They are apart of the hivemind, each one essentially being another bee tending to the hive. They are one with the hive.
what a magnificent sound to work the iron on a cloudy day,ice cold..and you just hammer the iron one and another and another time so the lump of iron becomes a scythe or a plow or a useful tool for the peasants...gosh i would have love to be a medieval blacksmith
