I have two and had an extremely minor issue with my 1st one. Their customer service is beyond excellent. This is a great company. The only thing I don’t like is I get a lot of comments that it looks like a suitcase from the movies, you know the aluminum case full of cash.
Great review! Personally, I have no use for 4 wheeled bags as the j-hook keeps the center of gravity low and makes for super smooth and easy rolling, so that is not an issue. Apparently, this case does not get all dented and smashed like some of the other brands of aluminum cases. The open interior allows one to customize the packing without all the superfluous or unused zippers, pockets, dividers and so on, and a good ole fashioned suitcase lid means that one does not need an entire table top for packing and unpacking. My one and only concern is the weight, but it is exactly the weight that gives it the stability and long lasting quality. Thank you for such a comprehensive review. I look forward to future reviews from you soon.
Real world testing must include checking it multiple times. If you travel as much as I do those situations arise that require you to check it. I have an aluminum Verage carry on I’ve had to check a dozen times over last couple years. Even dropped it off the back of a moving truck once(hurt me more than the case). It’s anodized black, so it’s got some patina for sure, but continues to serve me well. If they made a 4 wheel version I’d consider it though.
Good point! lol probably going to avoid those check situation - but sure they will arise at some point. With that said - there is a new model that Sterling Pacific has been working on - which addresses the downsides of a two wheeled version.
@@ItsDesmond Will keep an eye out for a four wheeler from them then. Been looking at the two wheeler for a year now, and like the build, but… drag behind two wheeler doesn’t work for me.
I wonder how difficult it is to manufacture a 4 wheel variant with this lid. I really prefer this lid style but also have gotten used to 4 wheels. Might have to just pull the trigger. Great review.
No problem! Thanks for taking the time to watch. Sterling Pacific is working on something new model...so stay tuned for the review when they release it!
Interesting analogy using depth of the ocean, considering the deepest known part of the ocean, the Mariana Trench, is about 36,000 feet deep. 73,000 ft isn't even possible.
Ahh I'm so on the fence with this brand. Like others have said in one of your previous videos, they are a start up company, made in china and owned by a hong kong commerce. Product looks amazing and looks to be well built. But I'm unsure on the price tag vs other well branded cases out there such as the rimowa cabin twist (which is cheaper, has the history/ brand rep). How would you compare the case to a rimowa? Thanks for your videos btw.!!
You wont get a response... also adding to that, rimowa's are not made in asia.. but in germany. These suitcase is not a good buy for that price. Probably in the $800-1000 price range
It is nice to have a luggage like this, but considering real life situations when you are forced to check it in against your will, when your luggage is being thrown, abused and you pick it up damaged, I would say no thank you unfortunatelly..
Agree. This is a suitcase where I have to be very deliberate about my travel. Priority boarding, size considerations etc. I have not had to check this or the other Sterling Pacific I’ve been testing. So 🤞🏽

You’re the case master!!! Another banger! Good job bro!

Thanks! I will say that Sterling Pacific has been developing an all new model…and it’s coming very soon!
Thanks for confirming my concerns about the wheels. Nice review.

I do have the black 4wheel its not available yet
Did you ever do an update on the Myst?
Not yet! But its on the list. Both MVST and Sterling have new products coming out this year that are pretty exciting too. Stay tuned for those vids.

I've been eyeing this for a few months now. Not having four wheels is the only reason I haven't bought one yet.
It’s honestly a beautiful suitcase. Build quality is insane! But that also adds weight. So yeah - a 4 wheeled version would be a dream.
Wwwwwwww
Why have so much similarities with rimowa, AND also the same price almost? I rather rimowa for that price

I am hoping that they'll make one without leather and is cruelty free.
