This thing is overpriced junk.
@@bellboy4074Well said mate!
@@bellboy4074it’s a fake made in China brand, they said it used to be a jewelry store in Vegas lmaooo like WHAT who is gonna believe that
Chinese junk
@@Minecraft-ue7ux It's important to note the carrier was Southwest, which is the budget airline of the major ones. So results may very depending on carrier.
@Heartless8604 The reason the case was damaged was not due to any airline. The airport is the one who handles the case, not the airline. All the airline do is carry the case they pay airports to take that case, etc.
The bags are to be seen, not used.
Its a novelty.
I was pretty excited after seeing an ad for this but I’ve never seen a review do so much damage to a product lol. Thanks for saving us!
Legit review. Excellent content as usual
Thanks and thanks for watching!
Good review. One reason I think Sterling Pacific has two wheels is so it works regardless of what kind of street you are walking on. For example, it was nearly impossible to use my Rimowa multi-wheel carryon in Rome and Naples, but a two-wheel Sterling Pacific would work great. Four wheel aluminum luggage just bends its frame SO easily.
hmm can't you stroll on 2 wheels even if they have 4 wheels though?
I use and love trunk style 4 wheelers. 2 wheels is definitely a no. For pricy luggage, they should include neoprene luggage covers. It will protect against scratches but not necessarily dents.
Integrity is lacking these days so I appreciate that your reviews are so honest. Keep it up.
Hello Attc!
Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to comment. We really appreciate it. Your idea of using neoprene covers is truly fascinating. Dealing with dents can indeed be challenging, considering the unpredictability of luggage handlers. However, we strive to address this issue through our Lifetime Warranty and Service Promise and treat each accident on a 1:1 basis.

I appreciate your review. The damage on the checked bag makes them a no for me. It’s a shame because they look pretty cool and I prefer a trunk style.
Hi there,

Great video Max!!! I think the other con is it's loud when you're roller it, but anyhow, that's too expensive for me, lol, thanks Max!!!
Super helpful! Thank you! Hoping the company considers some of your feedback :)
Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment. We greatly value feedback, especially constructive criticism, as it inspires us to continually improve our bags for our community.
Great review, good job!
Thanks for your honest review!! 4 wheels is definitely a must, and the checked bag is definitely a hard no considering how badly it was damaged! My bag from Costco could probably do better 😂
Hello Crystal,

Thanks. Was considering this, but after your review… no way in he!!….. Thanks for saving me the headache..
Wow, amazing review! I do feel that the handling on this particular trip was out of norm for your checked bag. I appreciate the honest feedback on the amazing build quality of this bag as it looks like a tank. I'm considering the carryon b/c of your review. I have 4 wheel spinner bags that just dont roll fluidly down the aisle of the plane so I feel the 2 wheel will be just fine. What a luxurious well built looking bag! Was looking at Rimowa but too many reviews of declining quality. Max, please continue to review luggage! great job! How about the TravelPro x Travel +leisure spinners AND their convertible backpacks, drop bottom weekenders and under seat bags. they came out right about covid time and are Travelpros highest end bag. Worth the price? You tell me! Thx again.
Wow! Good review. Will not be getting either. Did you return either or both?
Nice video. You have to accept that anything can and will happen to luggage when checking it in.
Yup agreed! but some luggage holds up better than others
What an honest and thoughtful review. I love the look of the bags, but the damage sustained on just the one trip makes it a no, especially for the price. Not having 4 wheels is a no as well. Some of the comments below talk about two wheels are better in some cases for ease of rolling. I think they forget that a four wheel can be rolled just like a two wheel if necessary. Such a shame the product does not live up to its looks.
Thanks for your review. This is a definite CON for me. They're too expensive and heavy. We are carry-on only travelers. Hence, we wanted the lightest possible - Hartman Global carry-on is 4.6lb. That's right 4.6 lbs.
Thanks Max for the review
For some reasons nobody seems to talk about Bric’s luggage. Price is great and their checked bags are durable. 4 wheels and matte grainy finish makes it look ok with scratches and bumps. Survived some of my intensive trips. I can spend a little bit for a Rimowa for a carryon but definitely not checked bags, those are meant to be abuse lol
Hi Kevin,
Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. It's fantastic to hear that you have extensive experience with various luggage options. We often find that our customers own multiple bags, and we've received positive feedback about the Bric's Porsche Design series if you're considering a option with Polycarbonate instead of Aluminum. It's truly wonderful to live in a time when we have such a wide range of choices available to us!
Hi Max, you have some sort of Solari board hanging on your wall that looks super cool. Gives the retro airport style. Can you tell us what kind of board/screen that is? Thanks!
a poor product only good for cool in Instagram post
Good honest review! That is not a good product for the typical everyday basic travel needs, its made for fashion or private plane travel.
I have the same feeling. Two wheels is a deal breaker , makes it tough for everyday travel. Especially rolling down the aisle when sitting in economy, those aisle are getting tighter and tighter
@@MaxMilesPoints Agreed 100%.
I really loved how this bag open and closed but for $2000 that is a lot of damage. I would be really irritated.
This luggage is so beautiful, I would buy every configuration were it not for how easily they are damaged by airport baggage handlers who probably look for bags like this specifically so they can play rough with them. I don't have the wherewithall to travel private so if I got any of these, it would be solely for road trips where I handle the bags personally.
That's why i have the largest Pelican 1615 checked luggage that takes a licking. I would literally cry😢 if my Rimowa carry-on ended up looking like your checked aluminum luggage.
It's a hard no for me on any of the pieces you presented on this video. They look good but are easily damaged.
Thanks for the video 👍
I've considered getting the away aluminum case, thoughts?
is there any other high end aluminum carry on you would recommend? I love the look of this luggage, but not very practical
Aesthetically, the luggage looks great. I like the truck style with shoe pockets on the lid. Rimowa has a trunk style too but doesn’t add these special details. The leather is a nice touch but it doesn’t look like high quality leather and the stitching is poor quality. Four wheels is a must. I wish all of these luggage companies will have the add a bag feature that Rimowa used to do. This will allow you to attach your carry on to your check luggage and roll everything with one hand so you can keep the other hand free. I’ve had my old Rimowa set for years but won’t upgrade since the new models no longer have the add a bag feature.
Some bag thrower saw that thing and went “daaaamn that’s expensive! Let’s f*** it up!”
Repair services is what sets the other vendors apart. Also four wheels is a must these days. This is a hard pass for me.
yeah I also agree the 4 wheels are 100% a must
Hey Pete.
Thanks for watching! We absolutely agree with you.
Something not mentioned in the video was offering of spare parts and a Lifetime Warranty for all our bags.
While Max's situation was unique, we want to emphasize that if any customer encounters a similar problem during their travels, we strongly encourage them to contact us directly. Furthermore, with our Lifetime Warranty and Service Promise, you can rest assured that any necessary repairs or replacements will be taken care of at our Reno service center or through one of our 35+ retail partners worldwide.
More of these would be lovely. Really enjoyed it.
Those look so slick in the trunk. But durability may be the deciding factor
I love everything about this luggage, except for one thing. I gotta have a four wheeled spinner carry-on. That is non-negotiable for me.
Do more of these plz
they offer a FAA pilot discount, which is pretty nice.
One trip and the checked bag looks like the airline dropped it from 30,000 feet. These bags would be a definite no for me at any price.
Yeah it was not looking good. 😬
I prefer 2 wheels. I am frequent flyer and I don’t fly business. I would love to have these as they look very unique but the damage in your video convinced me that it would be a bad investment. So I will pass and it breaks my heart.
They look like crap from the thumbnail before even watching the review. Thanks for your honest take. For $2000 you can build a better box that wont get damaged in 1 trip
Review the July carry on!
If they send me some luggage I’d review them! 😆
A 2 wheeler is a deal breaker for me
4 wheels is a must.
I'd buy one IF they made a 4 wheel version
I have the carry on. Love the look. I want to love the bag.... but I checked it one two trips and had similar damage to what you had on the larger checked back. Same cave in on the handle, and a similar cave in on one of the feet on the bottom, among other significant dents. I have no issue with dents and scratches... its aluminum luggage and that's expected, but damage that deforms the bag is different. I'm disappointed.... shoulda bought Rimowa.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I was surprised about how deformed the bag became after just one trip
@@MaxMilesPoints so sad... such a beauty.
It seems like the size it too big including wheels and handles in the carryon for the regulations?
I would never check that expensive suitcase.
My first thoughts on such a nice alloy bag is the baggage handlers will likely have a laugh being the first to dent it and especially due to the fact the damage was so bad they must have given it a bit more effort.🙄
Correction: the smaller bag is now $2,000 and the check in bag is now $2,500. They increased the price of both. . .
😬😬😬😬
Yikes that dent is nasty ^^ .... I would cry my eyes out is my $2k suitcase was in that condition after one trip, i'd basically deem it almost worthless, and what I mean by that is that if I were to buy it 2nd hand in that condition, im not even sure I would pay 100$
Hmmm looks "pretty" but it is a no for me. I need 4 wheels, and the damage after the trip is... bad!
no surprise there.. but maybe ppl that can really afford that will not be flying southwest and economy class but first or private.
Wow....thanks for the candor....helps me make my decision not to go for this
This bag will NOT fit in the sizing device as it is half and inch too tall. Most airlines don’t care, but I wouldn’t risk checking this beautiful suitcase. If it were 21 inches tall, yes. I’m sort of curious why (at $1500) they wouldn’t make a bag you know you can check. 🤦♂️
Honestly, I think those bags are better off being traveled by car.
When you are driving from state to state. That way, you know how to handle your luggage. And who's handling it?
Hi Elvis,
It is very unfortunate that baggage handlers can be so unpredictable.
We have had some professional musicians acquire our cases for tour, we think that they work for any form of travel well based on our experiecne with our community.
While Max's situation was uncommon, if any customer faces a similar issue while traveling, we highly recommend reaching out to us directly. Our dedicated team takes immense pride in providing exceptional customer service. We'll gladly assist you in submitting a form with the airline. Additionally, our Lifetime Warranty and Service Promise ensure that any necessary repairs or replacements will be covered at our Reno service center or at one of our 35+ worldwide retail partners.
That thing got destroyed after 1 trip.
Im good.
More product reviews please!
Zero Halliburton is superior me think.
Just one trip and the bag got that much trashed? Must be bad luck.... I'm flying from us to europe in 2 weeks with a brand new 80l with 2 layovers each way. I'll post back with pictures.
Note to self, do not get aluminum luggage for checked bags, yikes.
Thanks. Price way too high for that!
It’s on par with a lot of other high end aluminum luggage but I agree the price is a bit too high for my liking too
Heavy
Weight, price, durability, wheels, too many cons for this luggage imo….
Definitely 4 wheels
First!!! 2nd time, lol!!!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🏆
Overpriced non-sense. Check your $2000 bag and it'll for sure end up damaged. It's a terrible material choice for this purpose.
