Looking forward to trying our one out once the Discovery is feeling better. What is the minimum software do we need run this on a laptop? Great video again guys, looking forward to the next one.
We try to bring you new content as frequently as possible, but recording what we do adds time to a job and we're always busy! Its our goal to try and release a new episode every Sunday morning, and we'll continue to try and make this happen.
The next update to Power Flash has full diagnostic support for MSB part number ECU’s. We’re currently testing this functionality right now, and so far all is good. 👍
I have always wondered if there is a type of fuel map you can load that purely goes for maximum fuel economy as opposed to any performance? Has Alive ever been asked for that sort of thing please??
There’s no plans to make it smartphone compatible, but we’ll never say never! The idea of it being PC based was for ease of use, clarity, and for the ability to load and save, import and export Windows compatible files.
The next update supports the early MSB ECU type, but you’ll not have the remapping functionality as with a NNN type ECU. There will be some pretty special stuff for the MSB though, which we’ll reveal very soon. 🙂
Have you guys also devolved your own because of the change in the nancoms being locked too empires tunes ? also will you do a Bluetooth version to monitor engine data ?
This project had been initiated before any of the Nanocom stuff kicked off, so that’s purely coincidence. We are in discussions with BlackBox Solutions to get a resolution to the encryption issue, which is ongoing and very encouraging. We’ll make a public announcement once this is all wrapped up, hopefully sometime this week.
I think it shocked a lot of the land rover community when this happened with a lot of back lash to Blackbox solutions because the nanocom has always been the goto for personal and some larger tuners. With this happen out of nowhere with the latest update with it being said that you can send your map to empire to have it adusted the file format for a small fee but there was no provision for it on there website only there tuning packages no conversion option. i think it was disappointing in the way it happened. it will be great if it can be resolved because they will loose potential customers because of this change. ill just wait and see @@GaryWoodAlive
Hi Alex, We're in talks with the developers of Nanocom, so that we may still offer our support to their product. In the meantime, we've had to pull the remapping service for these off the website, but we hope to reinstate this within days.
Nice Video, would like to see more about Alive 110 Bilstein absorbers
Thanks for your suggestion! We’ll make that happen very soon. 👍

It’s designed to run on Windows 7 through to Windows 11.
Some more great updates, and a few bug fixes coming in the next software update, very soon.
@@GaryWoodAlive thanks Gary, I’m looking around the house for a suitable laptop.
I have an Apple Mac so I’m hoping to find the old one we had.
Hey guys may i make a suggestion, can you do screen recording on your computer so we are able to see everything more early. Love your guys work

Great video and that map sounds really crisp, no wobble at all. Will the power flash work on a MSB ECU??

Hi Stu - really enjoying watching all your video's :-) Rendom question - why is the diff lock on?
I also noticed. Probably to avoid any potential loss of traction by any of the wheels while on the rollers
A few reasons, prevents the chance of wheel slip, overspeeding an axle or underspeeding on the run down. It makes less room for variables too 😊

We need Gary Wood on, i see him mentioned so many times on fb ect
Excellent and very interesting video! If I heard right, I need a 15p ECU to be able to use this product? Are they a straight swap for the 10p?

Just down grade to 1.36 firmware and can bypass the corrupt money machine

If you’ve developed this for your own files why pork the nanocom locking it down for the rest.
