    Here's a way to decrease the tangling of the two yarns. Put the yarns in two bowls, one on either side of your work space. I use my computer table. As you work, you can untangle the balls before they get too tangled.

    I got this travel yarn bag from Amazon that has two holes in the top for yarn to go through, it’s easy to have multiple colors going at once with it but it does get twisted after every row, so you just grab the bag handle and turn it till it’s straight! Or you can turn your work until it’s all straight! It does help a lot to use the center pull for the yarn ball because it doesn’t roll around as much. They also have “yarn bowls” that are better for when you don’t use the center pull method but you’d still have to move the bowls or your work to untwist the strings. Hope that helps a little🤗

      For this, I used weight 4 acrylic, and the brand was craftsmart value for the peach colour and impeccable by loops and threads for the hot pink. I used a weight 3.75mm hook but you could use a 4mm and it would work just fine!

    what do u mean by "making a decrease here" at 8:57 ??

    • @AlyshaAutumn
      @AlyshaAutumn  3 года назад +1

      so starting on row 2, you decrease one from each end on every other row. The way to decrease is to yarnover, insert your hook, yarnover pull through, then, yarnover again, insert your hook into the next stitch without completing your HDC and then yarnover pull through one, then yarnover and pull through all of the stitches on your hook.
      I hope this helped! if theres anything else you want me to clarify I would love to help!

    Super enjoyable tutorial. And your color scheme is bomb. I am stuck on the back part coming from the crotch. I keep getting 5 stitches on the increasing rows the end. How do I fix this? Also for the increase am I putting 2 HCR in the first loop? I hope this makes sense lol thank you

    • @AlyshaAutumn
      @AlyshaAutumn  3 года назад +1

      Thanks!
      Ok so when you start coming back up from the crotch part you’re putting 2 HDC stitches in the first stitch, and 2 HDC in the very last stitch of the row for every other row
      Everything in between is normal stitches
      Because of the pattern with the squares, the colour hanging is often difficult and you will often have incomplete squares, but just remember to only have a maximum of 4 stitches in each colour to keep your pattern consistent. If you’re not switching in the right spot, you’ll have a square of 5 stitches instead of the regular 4

    Can you please tell how to measure and make different sizes of bikini?

    • @AlyshaAutumn
      @AlyshaAutumn  3 года назад +3

      For the cups and bottoms, adjust your starting chain to be longer or shorter to make for a larger or smaller triangle shape.I would do this by adding an extra square block (4 chains) because that’s a rather simple way to gauge size
      You can also measure how big your squares are and then measure against bathing suits you already have, and then make your chain based on that! Hope this helps!

    If i understand it’s necessary to have a multiple of three
    I can’t do it
    And the part of decreasing, i have to start half double crochet and skip 1 chaîn in the start and in the end of the row. I don’t see on the vidéo

    • @hannahshinn9971
      @hannahshinn9971 2 года назад

      For the decrease she like combines two half double crochets so she has three loops on the hook from the first half double crochet but instead of pulling through the three loops she starts another half double crochet in the next stitch and then you’ll have 5 loops on the hook and you pull though all of them
