This song is just so fun, love the less is more they've been going towards with the last album and this track slays. For some reason I can't get as into older Architects as much as the newer stuff, I think part of it is because so many bands took influence from em and sounds so much like em and I heard those bands before lol very influential though!
I love Architects and I felt the same way as I discovered them when they released For Those That Wish to Exist. However, the more I listen to the older stuff the more I like it.
I think as a fan from like 2007 I think its only right to say that given the journey they've been on that honestly to see the guys get the love they have been is just the best. Regardless of if you're into the new sound or not I think you should just be pleased to see them doing so well but also to see them hopefully enjoying what they are doing too.
I've probably listened to this song over 20 times since they released it and it just keeps growing on me. Can't wait to see your reaction and what direction Architects go next! 🤘🖤🔥
Watching these dudes next Thursday along with Sleep Token and Malevolence in Cardiff, U.K., the night after watching Tool IN Birmingham, U.K. This has me so ready. Next week is the gig week of my life AW YEAH making up for Covid.
3 in 1 day? 😳😳😳 Also when I saw the song title, only song I could think of was "When We Were Young" by Dillon Francis feat The Chain Gang of 1974.. am I alone here?
I definitely think, with how Animals was (song wise / structure, that was the best single and one of the best songs on that album), this feels natural. But also how Animals felt very in place after a track like Doomsday. To be honest, while there were fewer tracks with the 'older sound', the last album was vastly better as a whole than their first without Tom. It was more natural, less forced, experimental with more hits than misses, and features two absolutely fantastic collaborations (Winston and Simon Neil). But if we're talking events that have occurred that have lead up to such a 'quick' release, we have to remember that Animals was a single the band wanted to release in June, not October 2020. And the album was originally planned for November 2020, and not February 2021. As in, those were tracks that the band has finished about 20 months ago. The second thing to remember is the orchestral sessions the band has had, not least of which is the Royal Albert. Remembering all of that, I think that this is pretty much in line with their typical release schedule, and paints a pretty clear path as to where they could go, concerning new music. Importantly though, the band has kept their heavier songs for the albums, so to say this is indicative of their full range might be rather limiting. And I personally think it's a great move: use your singles to attract new fans (Dead Butterflies absolutely achieved that) and reward the 'Die Hard' fans with the 'full John McClane', so to speak.
I loved this song in first listen yesterday and have been watching a few reaction channels to get their take on it. Great stuff from you guys as always, definitely looking forward to see what else comes out or if it’s a stand-alone single #Bearchitects #Architooth
This is heavier than their previous album which I dig! Chorus is massive too. Speaking of massive choruses you should react on out the new October Ends song Play Time. SICK song 🤘
omggg nathan u look so pretty haha that hair and hoodie and wow johnny the vocalsss i love u guys, i love how when u said bd my mind automatically went in the bad direction haha but this was so good and i missed sams heavy vocals and screams this is way more suited for fans of their old sound and yes johnny we are both idiots for doubting this
When the drums first dropped in, the guitar riff reminded me of Disturbed's "Down with the Sickness" which is likely what the confuzzled look on Johnny's was... Or maybe he really is just an idiot... Or both. Lol, take care y'all.
I'm ashamed it took me as long as it did to figure this out, but the leading/intro riff takes me back to Tits On A Boar by Sevendust. (Accidentally deleted my original comment but that's the gist)
Architects are amazing as always just makes you wanna MOVE! They always have great dynamics and little changes to not keep every sounding to similar! Great work brothers!
Hey guys , great reaction as always Hope you guys have a great weekend ahead. If you guys have chance can you guys please react to Blacktoothed - So Real Thx
Nath & Johnny could u doing reaction yourslef by my band please guys ❤️ My Band and song is : The Elapsed Time - Heart Drowned Share too and tank you very very MUCH if u doing that for my band ❤️
Although it was nothing unique or special, I did like it a lot, just wish *spoiler in the read more* Also Oli has kinda confirmed we will get a new single within a month according to one insta comment. He also said they will stop collabing for now and focus on EP2 There was one more verse after the second chorus. Felt kinda dry in that part.
To me, again......TO ME....this is not bad at all, just isnt what I remember loving about Architects. Those Colors Dont run, C.A.N.C.E.R, Broken Flag, Grave Digger, those are the heavy songs I think of when I think Architects. I appreciate when bands change their style as here it seems they are going a little lighter and more of a up beat and fun directions, I just get nervous when bands do a complete 180 (cough cough Bring me the Horizon), but hey to each their own.
I think after losing tom the way they did, their style was always gonna change because they lost their main lyricist/composer. They probably dont feel right doing the same thing without him. I'm all for this more polished melodic, hardcore punk style going forward. Top 40 Core haha
It's not bad, band is skilled at what they do there is no doubt there, but thus far it's just not growing on me, His scream seems less powerful in this song then the past could be a new direction or just age getting to the throat.
Lads if you’re not on it already - We Came as Romans x Brand of Sacrifice: Darkbloom (Reimagined) is excellent.
Yes please!!!!
Update: they did - m.ruclips.net/video/M1GkqZldYNA/видео.html

That is fair, but for me it’s definitely a less is less situation, cannot get into their new stuff at all
@@TheExpressionxfair enough it's probably one of those things of what you heard first the old stuff or the new stuff
I love Architects and I felt the same way as I discovered them when they released For Those That Wish to Exist.
However, the more I listen to the older stuff the more I like it.
Architooth 🖤
This gave me massive Rise Against but heavier vibes the whole way through and I loved it
Oh I like this comparison I agree
I just saw Rise Against live backing up Billy Talent 2 weeks ago and now that you say it that makes a lot of sense!
Architects is awesome!! Haven't heard this song until now, and I'm loving it!! They're amazing, can't wait to hear more!! 🤘😆

Just got back from seeing these guys live and Daym this song popped off considering it only been out 2 weeks or so. what a song
I've probably listened to this song over 20 times since they released it and it just keeps growing on me. Can't wait to see your reaction and what direction Architects go next! 🤘🖤🔥
Fantastic song! Can't wait for full tilt, hopefully see you guys there tomorrow!
Come say hi if you do!
I LOVE this song! God, Architects are so good.
Beartooth + Architects = GOOD
Watching these dudes next Thursday along with Sleep Token and Malevolence in Cardiff, U.K., the night after watching Tool IN Birmingham, U.K.
This has me so ready. Next week is the gig week of my life AW YEAH making up for Covid.
I saw them in Leeds on Monday, this song was so good live!
Was at the same gig. They were so good! one hell of a night
I was hooked on the first listen! Architects is really a top 5 band for me
Had it on repeat at the gym and maaaannnnn such a banger 🔥🔥🔥
I want Holy Hell’s sound back 😫😫😫
Maybe Johnny was searching for what song that riff reminded him of? I instantly got Holiday - Turnstile vibes, even the subtle cowbell
Yeah! Also there’s a sevendust song someone mentioned it’s similar too
Literally died when you said "oooh, spacious!" hahaha
3 in 1 day? 😳😳😳
Also when I saw the song title, only song I could think of was "When We Were Young" by Dillon Francis feat The Chain Gang of 1974.. am I alone here?
This was a banger! love the big 4 or on floor type drums in this and the city in which the riffs exist. 🤘
I put on ur last vid that it sounded like Beartooth and architects had a baby. Glad we’re on the same page. Such a banger🤘🏻

The hashtags 🤣🤘🏽
Damn I loved this one! Seems fresh
I have some vibes for the "breadown" of The Past Is Dead by Beartooth, both song hits so hard, I love it 🔥🔥
Massive while she sleeps vibes
This is heavier than their previous album which I dig! Chorus is massive too. Speaking of massive choruses you should react on out the new October Ends song Play Time. SICK song 🤘
my initial thought was also that they were covering the killers heheh
Is it just me ; or is this the best song ever released perhaps. Lol. Jesus. What a great tune
That drumkit is so sweeeet 👀 #banger
this song sorta gives me hollywood undead vibes and i fuck with it

Beartooth break down is what I thought of.

Am I the only one who thinks sams beginning vocals have an enter shikari vibe? But then goes into Sam vocals
Hey guys can you please check out “high again” by girlfriends. They’re such a good band and I know you’ll love their stuff
When the drums first dropped in, the guitar riff reminded me of Disturbed's "Down with the Sickness" which is likely what the confuzzled look on Johnny's was... Or maybe he really is just an idiot... Or both. Lol, take care y'all.
just in case no one commented this yet, yes Adele has a song called When We Were Young :)
Cool
You boys should give a reaction to Melbourne band called Naberus - My Favourite Memory
I'm ashamed it took me as long as it did to figure this out, but the leading/intro riff takes me back to Tits On A Boar by Sevendust.
(Accidentally deleted my original comment but that's the gist)
DUUUUDE THATS THE SONG I WAS TRYING TO THINK OF! - Johnny
React to Leah Kate - 10 Things, it have a 2000s pop punk vibe like abcdefu
Architects are amazing as always just makes you wanna MOVE! They always have great dynamics and little changes to not keep every sounding to similar! Great work brothers!
AXTY just released their new song called Forever Yours, you guys should check that one out!
Coming soon
Hey guys , great reaction as always
Hope you guys have a great weekend ahead.
If you guys have chance can you guys please react to Blacktoothed - So Real
Thx
The Killers song is When *You* Were Young. But nice try, Johnny. 😋 This song was so good!! Have a great time at Full Tilt you guys!
Surly do a reaction to nerv-bad habits. Youll love it
KOYO- TEN DIGITS AWAY
This song reminds me of Stick To Your Guns "Married To The Noise". It’s kind of similar. Check them out
Check them out? Haha we just reacted to them and Johnny has a stick to your guns tattoo on his hand.
Johnny’s ink, particularly on his hands, are incredible. Very cool!
Tallah - Telescope or The Impressionist
Nath & Johnny could u doing reaction yourslef by my band please guys ❤️

Go listen to will ramos cover of hypnosis by sleep token
It was a bridge-down.
Why? Did you get over it? AAYYYYEEE
I was hoping for some Johnny "when we were young" banter at the beginning of the video. Sorry Johnny! 😂
🤣🤣🤣
It's not bad, band is skilled at what they do there is no doubt there, but thus far it's just not growing on me, His scream seems less powerful in this song then the past could be a new direction or just age getting to the throat.
I wish I could say this song is growing on me... but it just isn't. Oh well; we can't love everything, right?
At least you aren’t trashing it , you just recognize it’s not for you . Respect
Guys react to Sigrid Ft. Bring Me The Horizon it's a beautiful collab.
They went very generocore on this. Really miss their old sound.
Very true
this was ok. Travis Barker drum part in the chorus, and bmth sempiternal vibes. they have better songs.
So sad to say this is the first Architects song that I disliked. It ruined my day.
I see nu metal is trying to destroy real gritty metal music for the second time. What a shame
I mean, this isn’t nu metal and architects were never really metal anyway
Can you give me the name of your dealer please because I want whatever you're on
That stompy main riff is pretty nu-metal tbf.
So... if Imagine Dragons were a metal band -> this. And that's not entirely a bad thing.
This one is giving me Enter Shikari, but with an added heap of disappointment and over simplification.
Let’s gooooooo!
