That lead guitar part that Nathan was curious about is most likely just a phaser pedal with the effect knob cranked to the max.
Fully agree with what y'all said about Bryan's vocals, I don't tend to like KL songs but this feature was great. Very similar to the feature on Death by Landmvrks. Have fun at the show tonight!

Best song from them in an age. Not convinced that it needed a clean chorus, it drains a bit of momentum and punctures the brutality.
Featuring Bryan Garris is become the new featuring Courtney Laplante, he's got a fair few under his belt these days. This is the way to do a feature too, integrate the guest into the whole song rather than just give them a little section.
Clean choruses is a staple of MIW and always has been. Expecting it to not have that just means you don't really know the band.

@@willo1345 I've been listening to the band for about 15 years at this point, I know what they're like. Something can be a staple without featuring in every single song. I offer the opinion that this one would work better without a clean chorus, you apparently disagree.
Thinking more on it my issue is what it does to the tempo of the song, maybe a clean chorus would work if they could pick up the pace a bit. This one just slows everything down in an unnecessary way.
I'd say it's like the new "Ft Ryo Kinoshita" but fair enough 😂

I know it's sometimes hard to pick up all the lyrics and the message of a song upon first listen, but did you intentionally not talk about what this song is about? I feel like one of the reasons this song is so good is the message and I think it actually makes the song way more important.
