This theme is shorthand for Orks anywhere. Wether they're a semi-peaceful horde driven to battle or a WAAAAAGH! out to krump some gitz, this theme lets everyone know they're here, and they mean business.
It was at THIS part of listening to the OST that all of my memories flooded back and I realized I used to listen to this shit ALL the time as a kid! Same with Mechwarrior/other early pc games. It was awesome having the soundtracks on the game disc itself.
I just had a VIVID flashback at 0:56 because I used to put my game disc in the CD player to play the soundtrack when I couldn't be on the computer, and there was a scratch on the disc so it'd always skip and need bumping forward a couple of seconds at that point, and I was almost reaching for the skip button before I realised that was 25 years ago and it works fine now.
@@willmiles7978 YOOOO.... That gave ME huge goosebumps from across our screens. That's a great story! Signs of growing up in and/or living through the 90's. The power of muscle memory and the weird habits we picked up in that 'almost-but-not-yet-entirely' digital era.
@ OP, Same here. Some games even came with their own dedicated players, often in jukebox form. Like Tyrian's jukebox with its awesome visualizer, even let you adjust playback speed without pitch change ( its tracks being in a mod tracker like format).
probably had some similar samples or instruments. We would have to see what synthesizer grant kirkhope used vs Glenn Stafford? Im assuming Glenn Stafford made this track. Besides both tracks were made in the 90's so it's highly likely there is a similar sample used. Which part are you talking about? If it a voice, synth, sfx, drum?
