I'm giving another honorable mention (strictly personal, not game) to a duo that I'm finally glad I got to see form after their previous rivalry the last time they played on the same season...Rob & Parvati
@@NYChica23 parvati and ethan too, and even parvati and natalie. i wish we got to see more of parvati/ethan/rob alliance in the game, but all of them on edge have been so fun to watch, wish we got full episodes of just that too.
@@null6955 I agree, because I went into the season not expecting this alliance, since Rob had had rivalries with Parvati/Ethan on previous seasons, but I was pleasantly surprised that it worked out, and I'd rather have them & Natalie/Tyson back in the game over just about everyone left
I say that Tai and Caleb from season 32 should’ve been on this list. If Caleb didn’t get evacuated, I’m sure they would’ve been on this list. Jeremy and Natalie should be on here to.

Yul and Becky deserved a spot... They literally made it to the finals as a first final 3 and through the whole mutiny together.
That was much more common back then
In order for duo to be good, both characters from it must be interesting. Yul is pretty iconic member, but becky is one of the most forgettable finalists
I always wonder what the behind the scenes looked like for duo. Same with Jeremy and Tasha, because at final tribal everyone saw the vocal ones of the two as dominant.
Becky was kinda boring tho.
The entire Aitu four would be #1 if it was a duo.
Cops R Us was good in its original season but Winners at War has cemented Tony and Sarah as possibly my favorite duo in modern Survivor. Tony and Sarah played every season they were in with the other, and WaW shows just how much they like each other. Between all the goofy co-op missions like ash-spit camouflage and baiting people to the spy nest, and their willingness to stick together even after a devastating blindside on Tony's part, I think WaW has brought out the absolute best of these two. Hopefully they can reach Final 3 together, even if that would mean Sarah basically pulling a Woo.
I thought Sarah hated tony bc I’ve only seen Cagayan and she said in the reunion she doesn’t talk to tony or respect him
If Sarah was a guy and was in final 3 with tony and Michele Sarah would probably win

Tocantins was the best season in my opinion and as much as I love the rest of the cast I don’t think it would have been the same at all without JT and Stephen!

Where’s Parvati and Russell in HvV? That was such a dynamic and at the same time dysfunctional duo that was frickin entertaining and also got to the end.
That was for sure an alliance, but not duo, for it to be duo in my opinion they need to be friends for some period of time and not just partners.

Cirie and Aras are one of my all time favorite Survivor duos. I loved their relationship and gameplay.
COPS. R. US. Tony and Sarah played three seasons together and one of them won each of those seasons. They got the farthest together in Winners at War, so you're able to really see how far their relationship has come. And the fact it all ended with a fire challenge between the two of them is just icing on the cake

Fun fact: Cops R us has a 100% win rate. Every season Sarah and Tony played, one of them won. Cagayan it was Tony, Game changers it was Sarah, WaW it was Tony.
Denise and Malcolm partnership becomes a lot crazier considering what happened to them that wasnt shown on the show

@@maddy5930 there was a typhoon that I dont know when it started, but it was certainly before Russell was voted out. they were all so incredibly miserable from losing all the challenges and the nonstop rain, so being very cold and wet all the time. so before the council to vote out Russ Denise was ready to quit and Probst let Malcolm break the rules (you cant talk at all once you leave for council) to talk Denise out lf quitting. so the vote happened and they had to go back, and since its a god damn typhoon the travelling by water is a complete pain so they went through extreme adversity gameplay wise and humanity wise, he talked about it in more detail with Rob C couple weeks ago

funkerman7 it’s even crazier cuz the Typhoon was creating large waves and Denise was scared to ride on the boats so Malcom got on first to show it was safe and boat flipped causing Malcolm to nearly drown.
He said they spooned all night...I loved it. Wish I could have been Denise that night. Sigh.
Sandra and Courtney are so entertaining together. I could watch them forever.

I'm gonna act like your intro was an "Honorable Mentions" of sorts, so I'm glad to see Cops R Us, Tai/Aubry, Todd/Courtney, Vee/Sean, and especially Yau/Earl on there. I think your only "miss" is including the #coconutbandits on the actual list because every one of those HMs are a better duo than those two. Oh, and Jenna/Heidi nowhere to be seen? That's crazy! Not only did they strip for peanut butter, but Jenna gave up her immunity necklace for Heidi, putting herself at risk... and it actually worked!
On the flipside, your Lill/Burton choice is inspired. I never would've thought of them! And when they appeared, I kept thinking, "I hope he puts the scene where Burton tells Lill to stop kissing him," and whatdyaknow, you did!
Intro is very much an honorable mentions! Jenna/Heidi is a great choice as well, I should have put them in the intro.

I was expecting to see Tom and Ian somewhere on this list. They were strong competitors all the way through to the literal 11 hour and 55 minute final immunity challenge. And they had this father son relationship going on the whole time.
James and Amanda should be here. they played together 3 times and if you read the preseason interview for hvv, when asked the survivor they respect the most they both said each other😭😭
So happy to see love for Kenny and Crystal. Two of the most underrated players ever.
I kept waiting for JT and Stephen until it came up. Well deserved position!
How the hell you miss the peanut butter stripping queens Jenna and Heidi or Ethan and Lex? They started their games together and went all the way together being honest, helpful and trustworthy to each other.
He probably didn't do Ethan and Lex because they're more recognized as a trio with Big Tom

That’s probably my favorite character arc in the show. Tony went from laughing at blindsiding Sarah to crying over having to beat her
Kenny and Crystal are my favorite duo ever and probably my favorite two castaways ever. I love their dynamic so freaking much!
Honestly think Devens and David should be on this list, they never turned against each other and are still friends, and they work together so well. Love that duo.

I love both these guys! Their chemistry was infectious.
Pearl Islands was my favorite season so far, just rewatched it too and I never heard that clip of Burton yelling "QUIT DOIN' THAT LIL'" when she kept kissing him after challenges lmao.
I’m rewatching that season now and just noticed that moment as well 😅🤣

Malcolm and Denise?? Malcolm tried to screw her over. She gave him a taste of his own medicine instead. If he'd shrugged and said "Well, fair's fair," I might believe their connection was intact, but at the final tribal Malcolm's question to Denise was a loaded accusation, and when she tried to play it off lightly, he jumped down her throat.
Gabby double-crossing Christian similarly disqualifies them in my book.

Another Honourable Mention: Caleb and Tai - Brain vs Brawn vs Beauty
If this was made 3 months later no way do you not have Sarah and Tony on there. Both played the exact 3 seasons together. Both won one of the first 2 and are so dynamic with each other on Winners at War!
They'd be number one or number two for sure!
The brochachos were such a delight to me, just a bunch of himbos being sweet and a great example of non toxic masculinity which is extra surprising to see in survivor of all places and between two muscled meatheat type guys.
Remember the rules of being a brochacho:
1) Always do your pull ups
2) hair must always be on point
3) Must maintain mad skills, the ones needed for survivor
-Fire making
-Coconut eating
-Machete skills
4) The word brochacho is- a word Christian taught them that means its a verb, noun, or adjective.
-I wouldn't call it a rule to being a brochacho, more informational about it, but I don't make the rules, they did.
Additionally, brochachos don't eat gazpacho. Doesn't seem to be a heard set rule, but more of a guideline.
Looking back at this vid, cant believe this happened before Shan & Ricard and Jesse & Cody.
One of these duo was good! I Shan & Ricard was horrible and made Survivor 41 so bad! Jesse & Cody was great to watch and great at the game!
What about Dawn and Cochran? Nerdy lawyer kid and Mormon mom. Spanned two seasons, even though the first time went terrible for them. They rekindled their alliance and went all the way to final 3.
I ship Christian and Gabbie. Don't write fan fiction or have my own head cannon, but I still ship them.

@ 6:52 - it turns out that Amanda not only knew about the Ozzy blindside but initiated it with Parvati who agreed to play the bad girl and take the heat. Parvati has stated this is post-game interviews years later and Ozzy also said Amanda admitted it to him during their brief romance after the game. If Amanda had owned this move, she might have won over the jury, but she was too afraid to look like a betrayer to the audience and wanted to keep her persona as the “good girl.”
A bit surprised Tony and Woo didn't even make an honorable mention. I mean Woo did take tony to the final 3 out of loyalty

Kim and Chelsea should DEF be on here, I LOVEDDDDD THEIR FRIENDSHIP
Parvati and Danielle is an underrated duo they knew Russell was full of shit and we’re close enough that they shared clues to the idol together, but Parv and Amanda is prob the better of the 2
