Thanks for this video. I enjoyed watching it. I lived in Winterton from 1978 to 1981 but left for Australia. My Dad was born and died in the Village. Happy memories living with lovely People.
Forget the haters mate . Its there for all to see the time and effort you've put in on the knowledge of all the places. Some people are petty...I blame the parents!😬😜🤣🤣😇
Thanks for an interesting review of Winterton. My family used to own Gilby House, from the end of WWII. It was the originally owned by the Popple family, who were wiped out in that terrible war. They were the 'lords of the manor' (gentleman farmers), and I remember that it was a huge acreage right within the village centre, with stables, walled gardens and massive elm trees. The house was once a coaching inn, with twelve bedrooms!

Great video thank you. As a lifelong resident I've learned things I didn't know. Around the 18-19 minute mark is Earlsgate not Eastgate.
I've just misread the map that's all. I'm glad this is one of the nicer comments about it. I've had to delete some which were terrible
the war memorial was moved when they widened the Roxby road and stood where they found the roman lady and moved to the church yard
Where’s Korky ??
Korky?
its called earlsgate not eastgate. there was a petrol station and garage where them houses are on west street.
Knew something would have been there! Too obvious for it to just have been waste ground.
The Earlsgate thing, I've just misread the map
Do you know what I mean if I say smelly Nelly? I’m sure y’all are above me at school
