Dr. Bhargavi - Observership - Chennai Plastic Surgery

Hi, I am Dr. Bhargavi, a recent graduate of MCh Plastic Surgery from Kurnool Medical College, Andhra Pradesh. I recently had the privilege of joining Chennai Plastic Surgery (CPS) as an observer for 15 days, and I must say it was an immensely enriching experience. During my time here, I encountered a variety of cases that I hadn't come across during my residency, such as rhinoplasty, lipoabdominoplasty, nano fat fill, nano fat transfer, gynecomastia, and even cases involving inverted nipples.
Dr. Karthik Ram, in particular, stood out as an exceptional mentor. His innovative techniques for addressing different grades of gynecomastia were enlightening, and his supportive and friendly nature made learning from him an absolute pleasure. The entire CPS team’s dedication to maintaining meticulous pre-op and post-op records, as well as their thorough patient consultations and follow-ups, is truly commendable.
This experience has significantly broadened my understanding and appreciation of cosmetic surgery. The exposure to both surgical and non-surgical techniques, such as Botox and fillers, has been incredibly valuable. My time at CPS has sparked a keen interest in me to delve deeper into the field of cosmetic surgery, a domain we were not extensively exposed to during our residency.
I am deeply grateful to Dr. Karthik Ram and the entire CPS team for this opportunity. The knowledge and experience I have gained here are invaluable, and I am confident it will greatly benefit my future practice. Thank you for providing such a high-quality learning environment.
